Not sure that a dividend can be paid if there are won’t be any distributable reserves left in the parent company

I see there is a transfer of minus £642,000 to retained earnings from the value of own shares That will be the fall in value of the shares they bought off the Chairman The loan to buy them doesn’t get written off though. It has to be reoaid

One other point likitorma, the Directors made it clear that the cash balance was inflated by the CBIL's, they even gave a net figure, and that net figure a.shows an increase on previous year, and b.represents about one third of the current equity valuation of the company.

Are you for real, likitorma, have you not heard of Covid, did you think that the world just went on turning, i bet you work in the public sector ! Personally i thought that the results were better than they might have been, and it is encouraging to see the business becoming more "design led", it bodes well for the future. My only worry is that somebody swoops in now with an Offer at say 50p, which - whilst it would represent a 60/70% premium - would still leave me feeling as though we had been robbed. Not sure if the team at Airea read these boards, but if so....thankyou for your hard work during what has been a dreadful year.

Wow, Rev down 24% & PBT down 74%. Cash balance only looks high due to CBILs. Depressing outlook.

Not too bad... Highlights for the year -- Increased year-end cash balance from GBP3.0m to GBP6.6m (GBP3.9m excluding CBILS loan of GBP2.75m); -- Profitable during the Covid-19 pandemic; -- Underlying gross profit margins (revenue less cost of sales) increased year on year; -- Three new product launches during the year.

FWIW I bought a few the other day as I feel this has good recovery potential coupled with a bulletproof balance sheet.

Or is it just a case of value seekers scouting around for stocks that have not moved much in the recent market rally.

But surely Victoria are much more in the domestic market, whereas Airea is totally commercial.

There are rumours that a bid may be coming from VCT, who have just received £170m for acquisitions.
