02/8/2019 08:08 | I rest my case Dividend cut because someone had all the cash ! | bda3490
02/8/2019 08:04 | I'll get my coat..... | freezer1976
02/8/2019 07:58 | Or me lol :-) | freezer1976
02/8/2019 07:42 | I am sure some of the accountants on here may have a more nuanced view than I...however, the market will decide and it does not matter a jot what I think. | multibagger
02/8/2019 07:37 | I read it as they had more overall assets and less liabilities. Less cash due to inventory increase etc and 'strong' order book | freezer1976
02/8/2019 07:19 | freezer1976....take a look at the cashflow statement which shows what is happening. I'm not an accountant but this is worrying - cash generated from operations down from 1.174m to 457k in a 6 month period. This could be more than just Brexit in my view. Edit: Revenues down Operating costs up Inventories up Trade receivables up Liabilities up Pension deficit up Cash generated from operations down Dividend down Cash down I think share price could drop to early 30s in the near future - holders need to braced for bloodbath sadly :( Hope I am wrong. | multibagger
02/8/2019 07:10 | Market won't like this half year report and profit warning - given the poor liquidity, any significant selling will drop the share price rapidly. I'm expecting share price drop to the 40-42p range if lucky, won't be surprised by a bigger drop unless some existing holder mops up. | multibagger
02/8/2019 07:05 | So only a 20k drop in net profit compared to 2018? Is that correct? | freezer1976
02/8/2019 07:03 | Any thoughts on the RNS ? | freezer1976
01/8/2019 16:12 | The trading update from halstead was positive. Finger crossed for tomorrow | arregius
29/7/2019 20:47 | There is a Halstead update due soon perhaps they will give some idea of the uk market | bda3490
29/7/2019 11:50 | I would personally sell. Will there be a dividend ? Victoria plc say Uk market is poor | bda3490
05/7/2019 08:07 | Its been widely discussed the resson behind that decition and I am very happy. Of course inunderstand your caution. As said, he sold in april when trading was strong. Its been a delay of sales cause overall market uncertainty rather than company problem. In fact we are growing with strongest order book and well capitalized to grow. My buy | arregius
04/7/2019 08:31 | These are on my watchlist, but the alarm bells were ringing when the CEO sold his entire holding in April. I still like the business and potential, but remain on the sidelines for now. | the drewster
04/7/2019 08:22 | He sold in april and that month was strong one as CFO told... | arregius
02/7/2019 13:30 | I can’t get over the CEO getting 72 p in April Surely sales were already flat or dropping. As to JHD coming back I doubt it they will look to Rurope | bda3490
01/7/2019 15:57 | Well JHD declared on 22/5/18 they were not going to bid so I assume they can bid now as 12 months as gone by. Their lost trading update was January and things were picking up but maybe they have suffered like AIEA since? Either way it is petty cash to JHD even with a decent bid premium so I would not bet against it. | tiswas
01/7/2019 15:20 | There is a lot of value here, i refuse to do that | arregius
01/7/2019 15:16 | Must be a good chance now that somebody comes along with an Offer at 75 or 80. And sadly I suspect that the majority of holders will take the money and run. | mesquida
01/7/2019 13:50 | I wonder how many people are here for the longterm ... | arregius
01/7/2019 12:53 | Topped up today ? | arregius
01/7/2019 12:43 | My thanks too Rhomboid for keeping us all informed. | irenekent
30/6/2019 17:20 | Thx Rhomboid, helpful. Need to do some extra work here in the coming days to see if I'm comfortable to build a bigger position. Very left field trading update! | pireric
28/6/2019 14:50 | Rhomboid, I am indebted to you for your comprehensive summary of discussion with company. Thank you. Answers all the questions I had amd more. Seems a very frank and open response from the company. With which I am very pleased. And relieved - especially after my top up yesterday. cheers | illiswilgig |
