Looking healthy. Another hurricane to come, and this one will be taking down power lines, we just don't know where yet.

I am no expert or major advocate of charting but I do keep an eye on the 200 day MA as have found this to be a useful signal. AGK has broken through its 200d MA. Also I think there is a wedge formation ( top sloping line from 2015 high ) and the price is getting close to breaking through the sloping top.
Ultimately I believe only fundamentals will drive the long term share price and additional revenue as a result of extreme weather events across the globe should be beneficial. I don't know how much spare capacity there is to divert generators to areas requiring power ?

You have to remember over 1/5th of the texas Oil business infrastructure has been knocked out. Other states will be effected as well. cheers.

The plant has just exploded, they won't be needing backup power now :(

Edit - listening to the news report they had already bought in back-up diesel generators, which had failed because overwhelmed by water. Don't know if they would have been AGK kit or not.

hurst10 - power is pretty much OK in Houston. It gets whacked by winds as it is all third world overhead cables with transformers on poles. There might be some industrial sites which need it, for example hxxp://www.khou.com/weather/harvey/crosby-chemical-plant-at-risk-of-fire-explosion/469003777, if its still there.

AGK Aggreko anyone else wondered how this could benefit from increased orders in Texas Oil USA I see that the decline in the US stalled 2016. Surely plenty of hope.

I think that quite a big tailwind has been weak energy prices.

Structurally, the outlook for energy/oil price is very hard to call, there will be periods where energy prices will rise (probably on the back of geopolitical turmoil somewhere) and AGK will get a boost from that.

Agreed the dividend is not a key feature.

I am targeting £12 by end of next year, but that's an arbitrary target, not too much science behind it....

Hi Guernsey, I agree with your comments on webcast , Argentina seems to have been a big drag but hopefully we are coming to the end of that saga.
Share price seems to have stabilised at a low of 850p after last years base of 800p which is progress. If they can start to turnaround profits again after years of decline this should start rising again. However it not obvious to me what may drive this. Divi yield of 3.2% is OK but not a key feature

Interesting share that seems to defy the basic laws of economics in that supply plus demand dictates the price. Watching on L2 every day, buyers outnumber sellers atleast two to one, meaning the price should be steadily rising. However it continues to fall. Any one have any ideas?

After "takeoff" we have the inevitable landing !! Approaching the 800p level which has been a previous major support level in Jan and Nov 2016

I'd be relatively happy to buy again in the above mentioned low 800s, assuming general market tea leaves were aligned.
