27/11/2013 08:47 | That was the answer I was expecting :-) In the same position here, providing there recovery continues I am in. I first got into AGA because a lot of my customers were making the switch to the electric versions and the total control models. I install renewable energy products and the loyalty for the AGA brand in certain circles is very strong. Some installing the renewable products to balance out the indulgence the AGA provides them. I think the trend to switch will play out strongly over the next few years as the product awareness continues. | mark10101
27/11/2013 07:28 | Neither. This is as good as a share gets for a recovery stock and will stay in my pf for a long long time. Mr Bluesky | mr_bluesky

23/11/2013 18:01 | Think this could be the exponential phase before some longer term consolidation. That is if there are no more deals going on in the background where someone is given entry at a 7% discount.... | mark10101
23/11/2013 16:02 | charts are pointing that this is ready to carry on for the next leg up. Mr Bluesky | mr_bluesky

17/11/2013 18:47 | Upmarket oven-maker Aga Rangemaster enjoys cast iron sales thanks to housing boom Read more: A boost in the housing market has led to a surge in sales for upmarket oven-maker Aga Rangemaster. Increasing numbers of homeowners are fitting the cast iron burners into their new kitchens and have boosted orders by 15 per cent. Just as the mild autumnal weather begins to turn, the firm advertised by Mary Berry from TV's the Great British Bake Off said trading has started to pick up. | mark10101
17/11/2013 17:26 | Aga cooking up a treat as iconic company records best sales since credit crisis began sends demand for the famous cast-iron cookers to the highest levels since before the credit crunch erupted six years ago. The company today revealed that orders of the near £10,000-a-time cookers were running 15 per cent higher than last year as more people move home, and spend that bit extra on doing up the kitchen. William McGrath, chief executive, added that new electric models, which can be turned on at the flick of a switch, were making up two-thirds of the total amount of sales given the lower running cost and growing concerns about energy bills. An electric Aga can be run for £5 a week, compared with £25 for older oil-based ovens. | mark10101
15/11/2013 13:53 | certainly a good time to buy, I am already fully allocated here and have yet to take any off the table. I am sure we will get a genuine pull back and consolidation period, but what happened over the last few days smelt bad right from the start. I posted on Monday it looks like we have a good week ahead of us after our strong close on Friday. I think that phase had played out, then bam, down we go. | mark10101
15/11/2013 13:36 | I was pleased that someone walked the price down - let me buy a few more yesterday! | ryandj2222
15/11/2013 07:48 | 15th November 2013 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE AGA RANGEMASTER GROUP PLC ("AGA RANGEMASTER") INTERIM MANAGEMENT STATEMENT Sound trading with AGA sales hotting up AGA Rangemaster, the range cooker and kitchen living specialist, today issues an interim management statement for the period from 1st July 2013. Activity in the Group's markets has started to pick up as expected, with an improvement in the number of housing transactions following on from the acceleration in the levels of mortgage approvals. AGA cooker orders are promising and are now up over 15% so far this year. The AGA Dual Control launched in July is encouraging existing owners to trade up and, together with the Total Control launched in 2011, now represent over half of AGA cooker orders since the half year. For the Group as a whole we expect second half revenues to be ahead of last year: order intake is currently up around 3% year to date. The transition from tougher to more normalised markets for our brands is not uniform. Rangemaster orders are just ahead for the year to date, having trailed in the first half. Rayburn and Stanley cast iron cooker sales are down. AGA Marvel sales in North America continue to be comfortably ahead of the prior year. Fired Earth orders are up 4% for the year to date but Grange orders are down. Trend lines suggest a sound performance in 2013 with an improving outlook for 2014 as sales and product initiatives come to fruition. For example, our first shipment of AGA and Rangemaster products for the Chinese market, to be sold in collaboration with Vatti, will be made shortly in preparation for a full launch in the first quarter of 2014. William McGrath, Chief Executive commented: "The improving housing market creates a more positive backcloth for the Group and sales trend lines in most of our operations are encouraging. However, until household goods expenditure starts growing, it is right to be cautious. AGA sales are a hot spot fueled by our new generation of product and as home moves increase, our products come front of mind." Enquiries: | mr_bluesky

15/11/2013 07:44 | and that the RNS is a management statement, very interesting. | poppyjade

14/11/2013 18:07 | There we have it 1,000,000 shares showing as a sell but are obviously a buy lodged at 4pm. Wish I had city mates who I could ask to walk the price down 10% so I can buy in. | mark10101
14/11/2013 15:01 | Walkie Walkie, looks like someone wants into AGA in a big way. 100 block sells to walk the price down for the whole week driving the price down and flushing out a few week hands. Interestingly looks like this may have reversed :-) | mark10101
13/11/2013 09:45 | Lots of small sells going through this week, looks like the share price is being walked down for some reason. | mark10101
11/11/2013 07:48 | Strong close on friday, hoping for a good week with AGA. | mark10101
04/11/2013 21:18 | Hopefully the start of another good run to a new high. | mark10101 |
