Transaction in own shares

Pursuant to the authority given to the Company by its shareholders, the Company announces that it has purchased ordinary shares of 4 1/6 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the Company as follows:

Date of purchase: 13th June 2017

Number of Ordinary Shares purchased: 46,000

The average price paid per Ordinary Share was 641.67 pence.

The highest paid was 642.0 pence per share and the lowest paid was 641.25 pence per share.

This represents 0.04 percent of the issued share capital of the Company (excluding treasury shares).

The Ordinary Shares purchased will be cancelled.

Following the cancellation, the Company's issued share capital consists of 116,663,778 Ordinary Shares. Each Ordinary Share has one voting right. No Ordinary Shares are held in treasury. Accordingly, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 116,663,778.

This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculation by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
