Must be close Lasata. IIRC we are in the middle of the estimated window for getting an update on testing. Although I am quite happy if the gains of the last few days are maintained for another week before any news!

Afritin is in quite a unique position, Tin obviously flying and then the potential to get into the lithium market which is also fundamentally looking like the place to be, also nice location.

Good call on the move up :) wishing I had topped up at 5p

"It's very rare that you get a project of this scale and this much revenue potential at your fingertips"https://spongeshare.com/2021/07/01/afritin-could-the-lithium-trump-the-tin/

"Despite coming under pressure last week, tin prices have recovered strongly on the back of consistent news of supply disruptions. The extended lockdown in Malaysia will see MSC unable to restart production, while Yunnan Tin's annual maintenance has begun."

Not going anywhere while supply is greater than demand. Bored and impatient sellers? No point buying more until they dry up.

TIN

Tin is the forgotten foot soldier of the energy transition, which will be the largest long-term demand driver for the soldering metal, Kettle said.

Nearly 50% of demand for tin, estimated at around 340,000 tonnes this year, is for electronic components, many of them vital for the low carbon economy.

Without tin, electrons don't flow and electric vehicle batteries don't charge.

Jeremy Pearce, analyst at the International Tin Association, estimates electric vehicles, renewables and energy storage use around 45,000 tonnes of tin a year.

"This could increase to up to 70,000 tonnes per annum in 2025 and perhaps 100,000 tonnes per annum in 2030."

People getting bored, expecting news every week. Everything seems to be tooling along nicely, but really need some real financials to underpin a future valuation

hxxps://news.trust.org/item/20210607215049-952w1/

Indonesian tin miners switch to the ocean floor, leaving a devastated landscape behind, and are now devastating marine life. Seems like global buyers need to sanction some producers.

Nice quarterly update showing they can handle breakdowns and are on target. Some financial snippets would be good.

Updated company presentation (compiled in April) uploaded yesterday. Contains a couple of new slides - I found page 13 (Growth Strategy) kinda useful.

Tin - MSC Butterworth Smelter failure may take 10,000-15,000t of tin out of the market (3-5% out of the market)

• The failure of MSC’s furnaces at Butterworth which have been running since 1902 is likely to exacerbate the deficit in tin production as electronics manufacturers run as fast as their semiconductor chips will let them.

• The tin market recorded a 5,200t deficit last year with a further 2,700t deficit forecast for 2021 according to the International Tin Association.

• Global tin production was 310,000t in 2019.

• MSC is planning to move tin smelting to new facilities at Pulau Indah, Port Klang, Malaysia later this year.

• Tin companies: Alphamin, AfriTin, Cornish Metals*+ (Cornish Metals is drilling its new discovery at the United Downes site in Cornwall)
*SP Angel acts as Nomad and broker to Cornish Metals.
