I bloody well hope so :) I missed out on that one. THS is my second biggest holding, and hoping for a nice rise there. Do you have any others that you regard as promising as these?

It is positive that Miton has increased their holding. They have been clever and in the right place with Jubilee Metals as their largest holding in their small companies fund. They are not afraid to go in heavily where they like the story....could ATM be another JLP for them?

Thanks UKG

The person i follow on Twitter is Mark Thompson......he is an expert on the tin market and says the MSC smelter issues will be reflected in much higher tin prices going forwards.

I therefore expect ATM to be re-rated in line with John Meyer/Dominic Frisby's thoughts on the company.

We shall see............

Mark Thompson twitter

Speaking with one LME broker this morning who started the day short 40 lots (200 tonnes) and then turned position around on MSC news. Drove price up $500 dollars doing so! Liquidity disappearing - pre-cursor to an exponential move higher??

Tin market getting tighter...

The MSC Group is currently one of the world’s leading integrated producer of tin metal and tin-based products, involved in the upstream and downstream sector of the tin industry through tin mining and custom tin smelting.

Their smelting capacity much reduced and will not return to normal until the end of the year earliest.

Another new investor onboarded.May the price was kept around 6.2 for this reason, just to sweep the shares and onboard Miton. Seems like a new bottom imo.Though I didn't get that Miton almost doubled its share ownership from 15m to 27m but in terms of percentage, it moved from 2.88% to 3.14%.Anyway, the price should move on now inline with the upward movement in the Tin price unless Miton is hungry for more shares.

LoL: Locals in Cornwall are loving the idea that Crofty and united downs may get back to productive status, have you seen those areas. I live down there and am over the moon that Cusn are getting going in the old mining towns but my money is in ATM.
Revenue producing with huge easy and cheap to mine open pit tin, bolt on by products and 180 further targets within 5km of our plant at UIS. ATM is a No brainier in my opinion but I wish all at Cornwall Mines the very best and wouldn’t rule out buying in at some point in the future.

Have switched my position into Cornish Metals. This is starting to feel like the low grade of tin is an issue. Cornish could provide good drill results in six weeks. GLA.

9th March was Q1 update, so next news will be a while unless they give monthly updates on phase 2.

Tantalum concentrate sells for approx $50/lb from a peak of $100/lb.
Major supplies are now coming in from lithium mines.

I would base any valuations here on tin, anything else is a bonus. The fact that we have an agreement for tin offtake does sound like we will get a saleable product.
Pretty sure we will get a lithium offtake as that has good physical/chemical separation with light and heavy fractions.

Its all a case of whether the extra plant capex is cost effective.
