02/11/2010 10:42 | My real concern here is exchange rates $ versus £ and Euro, Which way is it likely to go?. We got stung a few years ago big time buying a property in US and the dollar plummeting. So if the $ drops those figures by hatto could be all changed. | buck316
02/11/2010 10:24 | Good morning everyone. I'm a little surprised that AFD is still trading @ only 38p/39.5p what with LUC's share price recovering as it has. Yesterday AFD had a 100,000 Buy @ 39.5p & a 25,000 Buy @ 39p. So someone realises the likely bonus of buying AFD at this level. I've had my calculator out & worked out the value of our potential LUC holding. LUC 86c = 42p + 7p BD Estimated value = 49p LUC 87c = 42p + 7p BD Estimated value = 49p LUC 88c = 43p + 7p BD Estimated value = 50p LUC 89c = 43p + 7p BD Estimated value = 50p LUC 90c = 44p + 7p BD Estimated value = 51p LUC 91c = 44p + 7p BD Estimated value = 51p LUC 92c = 45p + 7p BD Estimated value = 52p LUC 93c = 45p + 7p BD Estimated value = 52p LUC 94c = 46p + 7p BD Estimated value = 53p LUC 95c = 46p + 7p BD Estimated value = 53p LUC 96c = 47p + 7p BD Estimated value = 54p LUC 97c = 48p + 7p BD Estimated value = 55p LUC 98c = 48p + 7p BD Estimated value = 55p LUC 99c = 49p + 7p BD Estimated value = 56p Certainly worth watching LUC's share price which closed @ 90c v 92c yesterday. ====== Obviously two possible factors that WILL effect the above calculations are.... 1. A higher Bid by 24th November 2010 (Court date). 2. AFD shareholders voting against the LUC offer. IMHO ADYOR | hatto
02/11/2010 10:15 | On my personal web page, I have a link to TSX:LUC on ADVFN and that works. I guess LUC would work on its own, because ADVFN can't find it on LSE, so searches the other lists it knows. If there should ever be a LUC on LSE, we'd have to use TSX:LUC to get the Canadian one. | arf dysg
02/11/2010 09:03 | Graph is the small one directly above your post. Epic for Lucara on ADVFN is LUC | euclid
02/11/2010 09:02 | tsx:luc (per the one at the top of this page)! but i'm sure euclid will pop up in a minute and confirm it | cocorico2009
02/11/2010 08:53 | Hi all sorry may have been asked before. Can we get a graph for Luc on advfn? If so what ticker should I be enetering in the epic? | jibbajabba
01/11/2010 16:48 | emilio, you're giving me a laugh. ...but not in a good way. Meanwhile, the LUC share price ascends mightily... well, maybe it just isn't going down any more. | arf dysg

01/11/2010 08:28 | not sure the other sides brief is too hot | chapchip
31/10/2010 11:43 | Thanks bageo. This judgement is almost 3 yrs old yet AFD say the case is still active.. I guess there must have been more recent court events to push this matter forward but I haven't found any details online. Guess AFD haven't won as the claim is for a large sum and there hasn't been a RNS. | adamao
30/10/2010 14:50 | "... the plaintiff's pleadings, on this important point, are indeed vague and embarrassing." Oh, dear. | arf dysg
30/10/2010 10:37 | thanks for that adamao - information forced out by the takeover. | bageo
30/10/2010 01:11 | Strange this has only been mentioned now | adamao
30/10/2010 01:08 | Checked on this website and seems like the Microsearch case has been going on for some years, and AFD has lost at least one round, comprehensively. Makes interesting reading: | adamao
29/10/2010 22:41 | I wonder if we will see anymore buying from Deutch Bank follow this RNS? | varrirob
29/10/2010 21:27 | chipchap that is what is said but my point was this equipment was AFD's originally then a few years ago WAD, now Stellar so nothing to do with AFD currently. | bageo
29/10/2010 21:05 | hi euclid alot of reading in that 14069 post, thanks | markfrankie
29/10/2010 21:02 | wasn t it coz it was faulty equipment ? | chapchip |
