I feel the same. ACU currently feels like it's stuck in dead water.

Something needs to happen in order to get it going, ZCI sell out, a chinese/indian company buys it or ACU update their JORC resource statement.

Production is certainly up which is a good sign, perhaps potential investors are watching to see the next quarter report to see if the higher recoveries are not just a one off!

so we had record production the other month, potentially up for sale, copper prices appear to be rising and we are now at our lowest point for the year.

do the board have any clue on running a business

What are the long term goals for ACU. Have they published their long term targets for 2013/14 or updated their JOC or caried out further drilling...

Someone will to pay 2.75 for £40k's worth, which is probably thr biggest single trade I have ever seen in ACU..

Looks like something is afoot, lets see what happens tomorrow.

I don't think this affects anything to do with the strategic review, this is just to keep ACU functioning.

Though if they can increase pruduction higher than the record 809 mt, then it looks like ACU is pretty close to being self sufficiant.

I would hope we would see production levels of 1000 mt a month, which would make us a 12k mt p/a copper producer, with at least "three other world class mineral discoveries"

Doesn't look like ZCI are looking to get out any time soon. This could start to become interesting with this injection of cash & the major share % being held by ZCI.

Does any know if ZCI have a man on the ground to monitor operations daily?

"Daily production is progressively increasing and management is looking to exceed the record production level of 809 Mt of copper in concentrate that was realized in March 2012."

Outsourcer,

From our perspective yes it would be beneficial, and I would be as happy as anyone, as hopefully the share price would react.

But just because we haven't been told about interested paties, does not mean there aren't any.

P1ncer, but if there are interested parties is it not in everyones interest to say so? I remember that you posted something a bit back from another Company in the same position and they had stated there were interested parties

Outsourcer,

When I have looked at other companies who have gone through a similar process, by and large they keep everything under wraps also.

At this stage I don't think the silence means anything one way or another.

Looking at the interest in other copper mining companies that have sold recently, they have had multiple suitors.

It is difficult to envisage that no one is interested in ACU, we have a lot going for us.

Strategic review still ongoing, its been 3 months and they still cannot say if they have any interested parties.

"China has said it will take measures to boost demand and investment amid fears of a slowdown in its economy.
On Wednesday, the government said it will encourage private investment in sectors such as energy, railways and telecommunications"

All of the above will require lots of copper.
