03/3/2010 20:02 | i might just might double up just to average down and give these a second chance, due mainly to massive gains elsewhere. what i cant see is what exactly all the fuss is about regarding licenses, they seem to have a bunch of very poor licenses scattered everywhere. as for the management, why is it so highly rated? david weill yes maybe but the rest? there is bigger and better elsewhere, this is a small outfit going nowhere led by nobodys, and in this climate, pi's will want a good mining hit or we move on, there are so many other good outfits out there. | martinfrench
02/3/2010 23:05 | The KAH shares should be worth £3m+ when they get them also. | encarter
02/3/2010 22:36 | My estimate is that cash stand at around £6.1m currently, allowing for the CDC investment, BMN, MEY and RRCC disposals and the URU divvy - but before ongoing operating costs... ...of course, that's assuming they didn't pick up any of the Kalahari shares URU sold @ 165p. ;0) Cheers, Mark | marben100
02/3/2010 18:58 | going to take a punt tomorrow and add to my previous LMY holding.........this new Board has the credentials to do something here and I'm placing my trust in them! | gowboy
02/3/2010 12:50 | hello monster afnr has cashed in two of their share holdings, and will be receiving a large cash injection from their URU holding. Some of this money has already been spent on new projects (e.g. the copper mine). I expect the update referred to in post 100 will tell us more about the company's cash situation. rpm | rastapastamasta
02/3/2010 11:53 | What is the current situation anyone regarding cash and cash equivelents? | themoneymonster2

26/2/2010 17:28 | Had a reply from Afnat, "Thank you for your email. Please note that the AfNat board will release an update shortly." So Presume we should get an Rsn some time soon. | handykart
26/2/2010 16:58 | getting a little more interest of late, nice divi should help things!@!! | giantpeach2
26/2/2010 12:01 | 4 announcements this year, they are about to make some progress imho. | encarter
26/2/2010 11:50 | Whatever, they don't have a lot to say. Sent them a mail to see what they are going to do with the Uru situation, ref special dividend. If i get a reply will post what they say. | handykart
26/2/2010 11:42 | Maybe it's that they will be announcing receipt of the £2.5m divi from URU within the next few days. Or that they will be receiving another £2.5m worth of KAH shares from URU shortly and still hold 12% of URU. Or it could be that they recently invested £1.8m in CDC which plans to float on AIM in April at a considerable premium. Or it could be that Zambezi have announced plans to step up there Uranium development projects in March, which Afnat jointly own. Or it could be that someone has been accumulating stock over the last few weeks and there's not much left. Or it could be a surprise that we don't know about. | encarter
26/2/2010 10:53 | Something must be happening here? I couldn't buy below offer price all day yesterday and purchase of 50k shares = £1000 has moved it over 14% | pauladrew
26/2/2010 07:16 | hello paul i got in here via advfn on wednesday, no problem. g/f rpm (afnr, eml, prl, uru, gwp, jlp) | rastapastamasta
25/2/2010 17:42 | I have been trying to buy this all day. Can't get a quote to buy on line. Left two orders to buy at 1.80 but didn't get filled. Is anyone having the same trouble? Have a modest holding but would like to increase my holding by 250,000 shares | pauladrew
25/2/2010 16:30 | nice work fordtin! | giantpeach2
25/2/2010 12:53 | A few excerpts from AFNAT's joint venture partner, Zambezi Resources. Of significance to AFNAT is the mention of particular focus on uranium prospects. Zambezi Resources - Quarterly Activities and Cashflow Report issued on 29/01/2010 "...The company is now in a financially sound position having been recapitalised and is now in a position to move foward on a number of fronts...." "... The company now expects to resume trading on the ASX toward the end of February 2010, subject to completion of interim financials" .... "...An internal review of the company's nine project areas that make up it's asset base in Zambia commenced late during the quarter with particular focus on copper and uranium prospects..." | fordtin
24/2/2010 17:10 | A blue day!! ;-) | gowboy
23/2/2010 19:12 | Another 500k buy.... | gowboy
22/2/2010 13:16 | But yes now looking at these trades, it makes you wonder who is accumulating stock? I think that is what is happening with negotiated/worked buys going through around the 1.5 - 1.55 mark, ordinary buys going through at 1.7. | gowboy
22/2/2010 13:14 | Well if you were a pessimist you could state that this is an asset stripping exercise.....or as an optimist you could argue that they have a fundamental plan to raise cash which is going to be used to target something......what is the million dollar question! | gowboy
22/2/2010 08:05 | Another snippit of news!! | giantpeach2 |
