21/8/2007 19:00 | He cannot keep buying - any more than 29.9% and an automatic bid will be triggered. What is more, a bid is totally uncharacteristic for this man who became famous for les poulis bretonnes or 'capitalism sans capital' as I have posted before. | sharw
21/8/2007 16:38 | I think there is a bollore bid on the way. | irenekent
13/8/2007 16:09 | What a shocker. Finishing on day's lows despite the general market bounce. Down by as much as WPP is up. A really, really poor share. Someone shoot it. | le mass du pap
13/8/2007 15:33 | Sentiment is so bad. WPP results on Friday. I hope they are good so they can give this a much needed kick. | le mass du pap
13/8/2007 10:55 | The only one of mine not bouncing today. Woof, woof. | le mass du pap
10/8/2007 12:36 | Very poor that we are once again down by more than the ftse250/ftse100/sect | le mass du pap
10/8/2007 11:07 | It just ain't happening is it? 2% up yesterday, 3% down today. Quite literally 2 steps forward 3 steps back. BTW.....is Bollore trying to average down? lol I wish he would just make a move. Buy Aegis or sod off. He could be stocking up in anticipation of a bid from him or someone else. | le mass du pap
09/8/2007 12:05 | A couple of good posts on iii. I hope he won't mind me repeating them here. -------------------- "I think it has been drifting with the market and because rumours of M+A have dried up. Yesterday UBS were trying to place 6.5 million shares @ 126.5p. I bought a chunk yersterday @ sub 123p at or close to the intraday low. They are a well run aquisative company that pays a div and into the right markets. I suggest you sit and wait a while. I see almost no down side from here and the strong probability of sector consolidation with a take out target of say 200p. Today they are rebounding (one assumes the placing was successful) and currently close to 4% up intraday." -------------------- "UBS comments that current underperformance is unjustified. They are trading at -32% of discounted cashflow and conclude 'holding Aegis is a free option on potential M+A activity' " -------------------- Nice to see UBS are fighting the battle for us! | le mass du pap
08/8/2007 17:26 | Decent finish. I hope 130p isn't going to become a short term resistance now, that would just be daft. See what tomorrow brings, hopefully a continuation back up to a sensible level. | le mass du pap
08/8/2007 14:55 | Nice bounce today. Glad I was wrong about 120p. I hope we can sustain it this time in the lead up to results and thereafter. | le mass du pap
08/8/2007 07:22 | I suppose it could be Bollore selling, having finally realised that he is not going to get his own way. | irenekent
07/8/2007 17:01 | Fingers crossed nigel. The tide has to turn at some point with the build up to results. | le mass du pap
07/8/2007 16:50 | A dismal day, a big seller out there who seems to have been determined to drive the price lower, but as already stated, the outlook for aegis looks reasonable. I think the DOW has now reached a comfortable level so I don't expect any further wild swings tonight, so perhaps sense will prevail for AGS in the morning. | nigel_man
07/8/2007 16:31 | FTSE100 up 1.9% FTSE250 up 2.1% Sector up 0.9% AGS down 1.2% .........seems that not even the market is to blame anymore. | le mass du pap
07/8/2007 15:40 | nigel I hope so too ;-) It's clawing it's way back to 125p as we speak but it's whether it can build on that which matters. | le mass du pap
07/8/2007 15:40 | good company just dont like there margins | mistyblue2
07/8/2007 15:36 | Le mass, the big seller has distorted the price today, once they are out of the way we should be back to 126/128p. Good rise to results from there I hope. | nigel_man
07/8/2007 15:28 | You're right. But why would someone be selling so close to results? To think it needs 20% to get it back to a reasonable level just beggars belief. It's going to take a bid now to restore the sp's respectability or astounding results. | le mass du pap
07/8/2007 15:17 | Obviously a very big seller out there today, massive volume, hope that 297K trade was the last, could then see a recovery before close. | nigel_man |
