10/2/2019 18:09 | 5.75 - 6p to buy would be better... | diku
10/2/2019 17:53 | An approach may be the only way to realise some sort of value hereThe shares have been to date an abysmal performer - the company performance has been solid but not spectacular An approach may bring value out | investorsiba
10/2/2019 17:15 | Good post Playful. Two other companies in specialist electronic component distribution, Acal & Solid State, both doing very well with revenue and share price increasing. Both have achieved this growth through a successful acquisition strategy and as stated in their annual reports seek further acquisitions in complimentary areas. In my opinion there is a real danger here that APC will be snapped up very quickly at well under the brokers forecast share price Even if it went for the 12p they are forecasting it would still be a very good buy for either of them and instantly pay for itself by an increase in earnings and share price. | insider6
08/2/2019 17:29 | Continuing to weaken in the face of positive updatesStrange | investorsiba
28/1/2019 13:58 | Just purchased a load of these, good opportunity whilst we stock around. over 22k worth in total. | igoe104
26/1/2019 16:25 | I'm told if haring intend to sell to zero they do not need to submit a tr-1 until they are finished | ultimatewarrior
26/1/2019 15:38 | I suspect Harwood Capital joined us on the placing, but the onus is on Harwood to submit the TR1. The selling is most likely legacy shareholders from the old regime. | playful
26/1/2019 13:15 | But hardwood don't appear on the 2017 holdings fy report so I'mV confused | ultimatewarrior
26/1/2019 12:28 | Playful hardwood capital have sold circa 4 million shares between the fy report - dec 2018 holdings and the updated as of yesterday holdings on the apc website That's why it's relatively simple to buy atm a big seller imo | ultimatewarrior
25/1/2019 22:24 | “The holding percentage increases confidence” We have seen this from major holders, the founder was the most recent to increase. Patience, young grasshopper! | playful
25/1/2019 21:15 | The holding percentage increases show confidence An institution holding the same percentage covering dilution is just position protection | ultimatewarrior
25/1/2019 21:00 | ultimate, Canaccord increased by 0.5% and so did Rockridge by 0.3% That is immaterial to me. My point is they bought more shares therefore they have confidence. | insider6
25/1/2019 19:44 | I'm interested to know also warrior, but way beyond my abilities. | wanttowin
25/1/2019 18:56 | Did the others increase or maintain the same % holding Sorry for the questions | ultimatewarrior
25/1/2019 17:26 | Octopus Investments 5.8% > 6.8% | playful
25/1/2019 17:06 | Haven't those institutions simply bought to maintain holding % after the placing - avoiding dilutionThey haven't increased - they have bought to maintain Unless my thinking is wrong | ultimatewarrior
25/1/2019 16:44 | Yes never have any trouble buying apc Suggests a large holder is dumping possibly | ultimatewarrior
25/1/2019 16:14 | agreed, easy to buy too.. thank you ghf for your updates , much appreciated.. | wanttowin
25/1/2019 16:06 | I was surprised to buy at 6.3p this afternoon, attractive price compared to placing last year. | chrismo
25/1/2019 15:50 | Good posts brownie & insider. Concur with your thoughts. Courtesy to mention that I’ve been moving some stock from one account to another...so don’t be alarmed at the 6.3p trades. Kind regards, GHF | glasshalfull
25/1/2019 11:10 | Brownie69, entirely agree with your post. Furthermore I believe the II's have bought into the story over the past year. Cannacord Genuity Group (Incorporating Hargreave Hale)increased holding by 8.5m shares, Rockridge Investments by 4.6m, Octopus by 4.4m and a new investor Harwood Capital bought 9m. As you say Brownie if another couple of II's come on board and assuming the Interims are in line with expectation the current price could easily reach 10p. | insider6
25/1/2019 09:55 | Some good news for a Friday morning. The trading update is comforting but not going to move the dial much on its own. However the acqusition is really good news for several reasons; More evidence of management being able to execute on a core plank of their growth strategy. The price! 3.3 times the anticipated EBITDA post intergration. So even though we trade on about 8 times its highly accretive. No fund raising needed thus current cash generation must be good. More deals like this and institutional investors are likely to take notice. I'm happy with more fund raising if for future deals that are this accretive! This deserves a PE of 12 even in these markets as a growth business with an improving balance sheet. Thats puts us around 10p | brownie69
25/1/2019 08:47 | Double dose of good news today - trading is nicely in line for a current year P/E of just 8. And a rather good earnings-enhancing acquisition at a cheap price which should enable further cross-selling and synergies. | rivaldo
25/1/2019 08:13 | I assume you have a 2-5 year timeframe to make a profit from your original investments It has hovered between 6-8p since Jan 2017 | jailbird |
