Paying £495k & delivering £175k EBITDA 👏🏻👏🏻8079;🏻

Was on PER 8 with +36% EPS growth PRIOR to this acquisition. ✅

Afternoon folks,

I’ve received a few emails and DM’s on Twitter asking whether I’m still invested in APC. To clarify, it’s an unequivocal, “yes!” I don’t tend to post much when little to say. As johnv noted, I mentioned I’d sold down my AVG holding yesterday to reinvest elsewhere.

The current APC team stemmed losses & restructured the business. They are now successfully executing on their strategy & on a lowly prospective PER of 8 for the current year with +36% earnings growth pencilled in.

I believe the investment case will become more compelling as they fold in more earnings enhancing acquisitions & gain further supply agreements in the core business. In addition, I’d hope they’d capture a decent slice of the Time Sync market which is currently growing at +30% per annum...not forgetting the opportunity they have in Property Technology.

We have a news update that APC time are exhibiting at BVE the UK’s largest broadcast, production and media tech event next month, but when reviewing the exhibitor link it provides a further case study “Client - National TV and Broadcasting Institution”

I haven’t seen this study before as its not on the company website but seems interesting.

Good post Playful. On March 29 2018 APC announced that they were a preferred supplier to ENGIE so this is potentially very good news.

This deal was concluded last month and the sector seems destined to grow rapidly.

The acquisition, for an undisclosed sum, will provide a step change in ENGIE’s smart buildings capabilities and will significantly enhance the solutions the company is able to offer customers.

From what I can gather, the jamming of drones is relatively simple for the security services. The problem arises after jamming in that no one knows what will happen with the drone, it could become harmless, or more dangerous, or spiral totally out of control.

It seems to me the skill in the future will be to commandeer the drone remotely, or find a way of capturing it mid air.

Dunraven are the Irish distributor for SigFox IOT products and have created their own product oilplan.

The SigFox sensor monitors oil tank levels, so you can have automatic refills and never run out again:









We could perhaps partner with them here in the UK or create something similar?
