03/8/2018 10:09 | I'm sure you are right paul. I hope it will be for you and all other AVO pi's but I'm not sure that it will be. I fear that some bigger fish will grab all the goodies once LIGHT is fully developed. | daijavu
03/8/2018 07:52 | And now fighting its way back nicely. Good times ahead. | paul_98
03/8/2018 07:27 | About 2 years ago. I think it was August 2016. Everything went downhill from then. | daijavu
02/8/2018 22:27 | Can anyone tell me when the share certificates became 25p? Thanks. | glibgibon
02/8/2018 13:25 | Only a matter of time. This will reward the patient investor for sure. | paul_98
02/8/2018 12:17 | It is of course a bit questionable that directors are allowed to acquire shares at a discount to the prevailing market price - but on the other hand this is no doubt a strong and positive confirmation of their belief in the AVO potential, while the company is raising a considerable amount of fresh cash. Next stop 100p+++ | baner
28/7/2018 12:01 | Good luck with that! | paul_98
27/7/2018 22:05 | Have you read that article. It's projections are for 2030. It requires a lot of patience and deep pockets to tie up capital for that length of time. By the time AVO produces results I might have made enough from my other investments to buy the company outright. | daijavu
27/7/2018 19:53 | Course there are other opportunities, just that this is a particularly good one! This is, after all, an AVO discussion board, so let’s talk AVO... Next news within a short space of time. Let’s see how the market reacts to yet more positive news. :-) | paul_98
27/7/2018 19:35 | 2030 is a little way away. In the meantime, there have got to be other investment opportunities | daijavu
27/7/2018 07:39 | The 155 target price is a conservative one IMO. | paul_98
25/7/2018 08:34 | We reiterate both our OUTPERFORM recommendation and target price of 155 GBp. | makeamillion1
25/7/2018 08:33 | New Research found: hxxps://www.avoplc.c | makeamillion1
25/7/2018 08:22 | I notice on AVO's website a New Report by Goetzpartners dated 23 July 2018....has anyone seen it? I can not make the AGM but would appreciate any feedback for who ever is going. | makeamillion1
24/7/2018 22:39 | AGM tomorrow. Not sure it will tell us anything, however this is an important time in AVO’s current positive position. GLA. | paul_98
23/7/2018 07:27 | Amen to that. But I'm still not putting any money into AVO until I'm sure they will reward my investment in hard cash. | daijavu
20/7/2018 18:06 | No buts it’s a damn good one. Let’s celebrate progress and help for cancer patients. | paul_98
20/7/2018 17:52 | The point is that Proton therapy is not the only near or future help for cancer sufferers. | daijavu
20/7/2018 17:46 | I’ll happily lose every penny invested if they find a total cure for all cancer. In the meantime that is wholly unrealistic sadly. This is the current and near future help for those suffering. | paul_98
20/7/2018 13:56 | One of the most promising at the moment seems to be using modified cells from a tumour to kill the tumour. A woman with 'incurable' breast cancer who was given just a few months to live, was recently treated with modified cells from her tumour that attacked/enabled her body to attack the original cancer cells. The treatment eradicated her tumour and she was declared free of cancer. It will probably take some time for the treatment to receive clinical approval for general use. It is my opinion that the real competition to LIGHT lies in biological treatments such as that rather than other forms of proton therapy. Having said that, LIGHT may have a future as a diagnostic tool, replacing more hazardous x ray machines. | daijavu
20/7/2018 10:55 | daijavu.. curable by others methods, can you expand of these other methods and the likely time span before these other methods could cure cancer? | ny boy
20/7/2018 09:53 | paul. I am as sold on the technology as you are but have you considered the possibility that by the time LIGHT is ready, no one will need proton therapy because cancer will be easily curable by other methods. Proton therapy may be just a quaint, old fashioned, technology with limited use. I keep an eye on the other developments. That is what I mean when I talk about the bigger picture and it is one reason why I am not investing in AVO at the moment | daijavu
19/7/2018 06:36 | Daresbury job: Another exciting sign that all is secure. | paul_98
18/7/2018 10:07 | How sure am I? Very confident. | paul_98
18/7/2018 09:48 | "Big news due this quarter" How sure are you about that? A couple of years ago there was a poster on the AVO called Sidknee. He was fond of making predictions about AVO that never came true. His best one was that the share price would be 400p by the end of the week. It never happened, nor did the 'big news' on which his prediction was based. The share price was about 380p at the time so I suppose he had some excuse. It doesn't mean that I don't hope for good news, it's just that I prefer to hear the news before I part with my cash. | daijavu |
