So we are both agreed that AVO require funds, but you seem to think the source will be different to me.


AVO cannot place under 25p, yet without positive news (IMO) the share price went from 9p to 43p, which looks like being walked up to me, which may give them to offer a 'discounted' placing that would be at 25p or above.


I notice the recent activity of new posters, only posting on this BB, in a commissioned report, and paid for 'interviews', and that adds to my conviction they will place, but I accept I may be totally wrong of course.


Either way, I suspect we will know for sure very soon.

I do not believe a placing is likely having re read the Half Year Report.

I noticed the chairman said in this report;

"The Board is having ongoing discussions with potential funders and remains confident that additional funds will be available as and when needed."

What we do know is that the cash burn will almost certainly require a funding announcement this month, based on the recent media activity I am rather surprised it has not occurred yet.

The latest pull back has presented IMHO an additional buying opportunity knowing that any announcement will likely propel the share price well above its recent high of circa 43p. Time will tell but I remain optimistic positive news is not far away.

The main thing is, of course, Advanced are still there, fighting it out and doing all possible to bring this to market. I remain a holder.

well if they are going for a 25p placing, any further falls could scupper that, IMO.

Maybe they are already trying to build the book?

No news breeds uncertainty and the mm's take full advantage when investors want to bail out. To date there appears to have also been some buying possibly in an effort to prevent the share price sliding but the reversal continues. I don't see how they can get a placing off the ground with all these ups and downs on little/no volume. How can they reach a satisfactory price??

It's kind of exciting and worrying at the same time wondering what's going on behind closed doors here. On one hand I think it can't go wrong, too far down the line, then you doubt it. I guess no risk no reward.

Share price will be back to 10p by then! Somebody's trying to keep the price up to current level but the fall backs are pretty sharp on little or no volume. You certainly have to be brave / prepared to lose alot at the moment by investing in AVO.

Hopefully it's a big announcement therefore 2-4 weeks (or longer) is reasonable to produce the details.

No news on the long term financing arrangements. Its been 2 weeks since the interim a/cs and they don't appear to be rushing to let everyone know the details.

No idea on that but I have a guestimate that they will be feeling the pinch cash flow wise from Dec onwards. Therefore they will have to organise some form of funding before then IMHO.

It depends on how much they can raise but it would appear that some investors have pretty deep pockets. Having said that those with the deepest pockets only managed a loan recently to keep the show on the road so whether they will dig even deeper for a placing remains a bit doubtful IMHO. At what price too?? Is anybody's guess to the figure they can ask for as there has only recently been a surge in value and I doubt it will keep going in an upwards direction. My guess is it will fade the longer the lack of news.

This seems a much more popular share in recent months. Am I right in thinking that a placing will see this likely go through to successful production and high reward?

You've got to hand it to them - leak the rumour, conduct a media onslaught, get an share price surge back over 25p, then hit us all with a major placing. Standard practice, but it seems to work every time.

To be fair - it's what I'd do if I needed to keep the wheels on.

Placing ahoy! We must all be prepared for major dilution here - inevitable IMO. But at least it'll keep the company afloat.
