19/7/2017 11:57 | if they do try to take it private it will need to be a heck of a sight more than 25p. it will be interesting to see what Bracknor do with their warrants "As part of these arrangements the Company will issue 7 million warrants to Bracknor. These warrants are exercisable at 25p and may be exercised at any time over the next five years." | sea and sky
19/7/2017 11:53 | I think they know what they are doing. | mrtruth1
19/7/2017 11:48 | This is just the Swedes taking the first step to taking the company private. Which is where it should be. | igbertsponk
19/7/2017 11:47 | Nothing has changed re the long wait for development, approval, testing and selling LIGHT and the revenue from sales is still years into the future IMHO. The main impact of todays rns is that Bracknor will not be selling into the market depressing the share price The rise caused by that news and that existing shareholders are willing to lose more money to try and protect their investment has led to shorts closing but doesn't alter the fact that of the £3.9m only £3m will be left after interest and that will last maybe 3 months. So will still be looking desperately for some other form of financing (ie equity) to increase the massive dilution that has already taken place. | twirl
19/7/2017 11:46 | Jacknife and the bears routed. Will never be trusted ever again! | escapetohome
19/7/2017 11:42 | As I've said before: this is not for widows and orphans, and I don't pretend to know much on the medical side, but anything which is approx a third of the cost and more portable, more scaleable and can be moved to target different tumours, as opposed to the current systems gets my vote. The NHS have bought in to the huge costly proton systems (HCPS) and knowing how they ditched a bespoke software system that had already cost them some billions (and was totally unfit for purpose mainly due to total inept NHS specs - from good personal knowledge believe me), I think the very fact that they HAVE opted for the (HCPS) shows me that AVO have a damn good chance of being the proper way to deliver proton therapy. There is big risk of course as they need financial stability but the rewards can be huge for them. I wish them well. Any insider who stumps up when the chips are down gets my support. I hold some. | sea and sky

19/7/2017 10:59 | Up over 100% to buy after last nights close. It is all about confidence in the directors 4 of which bought 1 million shares before the close period in April / May This is a 10 bagger from last nights close within a very short period of time. Most important is that the technical milestones are on track and the company will be treating superficial tumors around this time next year. Sales will precede this I expect but accelerate once test site is established treating tumors. This company has some of the best expertise in the world and unfortunately to many people listened to TW when each time he spoke the shares tanked. Hopefully we will not hear from him again. Good luck and enjoy the ride | makeamillion1
19/7/2017 10:59 | escapetome, And prior to this news where were you? | andy
19/7/2017 10:58 | So as expected the Bracknor facility hit the rocks and the company is being forced to buy their way out of future commitments. Yes the terms of the new loan are much better, but still leave the company with a significant funding short fall and a repayment date well in advance of operational cash flows. The crowd seems to have gone wild but as the reality begins to sink in the share price will drop back again. | sweet karolina |
