08/6/2017 10:40 | Sk, Good post, too many people can't sell at a loss and end up with a bigger loss as a result. This looks totally doomed, the Bracknor deal looks terminal for holders, IMO. | andy
07/6/2017 23:26 | Still short | scantrader
07/6/2017 13:02 | small short. Spreadex closed most of it but allowed a small amount to run, so far anyway | pj 1
07/6/2017 12:46 | How many on here are still short? The spread betters closed most shorts a while ago because the longs had been wiped. But ig allowed them | barnetpeter
07/6/2017 07:13 | PJ1, The answer is very simple - when a company is in as much trouble as AVO this sort of financing is all it can get the choice is take it and dilute shareholders to oblivion or go into administration and watch shareholders get nothing. The good news for small PIs is that they do not have to remain shareholders for any longer than it takes to click a mouse. Yes that means taking a loss, like vatna and others have, but it is better to take a smaller loss and redeploy the capital earlier than it is to hold and hope and watch your capital dwindle away. | sweet karolina
06/6/2017 22:34 | vatna, Exactly, they don't give a monkey's about anyone else. | andy
06/6/2017 21:27 | totally Daft question Why do Companies enter into these really complicated funding contracts, pay circa 10% fees on the initial amount raised (i.e. shareholder funds), plus ''other fees'' when the situation arises (i.e.shareholder funds), pay for legal and financial advice (i.e. shareholder funds),which results in massive dilution (to shareholders) and then at the 11th hour alter the terms of the contract? | pj 1
06/6/2017 18:18 | It would be interesting if they could explain exactly how this reaffirms Bracknor's support for the shareholders? Seems to me that it reaffirms Bracknor's support for Bracknor. | vatnabrekk
05/6/2017 15:08 | Certainly confusing. Unless they have missed the word ''yet'' out of the RNS? | pj 1
05/6/2017 15:01 | "This reaffirms Bracknor's prior and on-going support for the Company and its shareholders." LOL! | igbertsponk
05/6/2017 14:58 | Good news! Won't reduce nominal below 25!! | bean02
03/6/2017 22:47 | It's kind of Ironic that the company is working on a treatment for cancer, given that the way it has misled ordinary shareholders reflects, yet again, the cancer of dishonesty among some companies on the AIM. A problem that has led to so much heartbreak for ordinary peeps. But I am still whistling in the dark and hoping I won't lose all, and hoping things can be turned around. | gerhart
02/6/2017 23:09 | And down it goes again, under 20p now. I do believe that the technology will come good in time, and I hope that it will do everything that AVO claim that it will do. But I fear that the company cannot possibly survive long enough to see it through. Considering the amount of money that Bracknor will be converting into shares in the future, it simply is not sustainable, and there is no way that the directors can keep pumping in personal money to stop the share price sinking. Also, don't forget that Blackfinch now have a loan of £5M secured on the Harley Street lease and the assets of the company. So if it goes pop, the current shareholders will be left with nothing. I should declare that I sold out some months ago at 64p and 56p, and at a sizeable loss. I feel for the current shareholders, many of whom are probably in much deeper than I was. | vatnabrekk
02/6/2017 12:04 | Whoever is suppose to update the loan note spreadsheet on AVO's website has given up. States the number of CLN issued 137 - actual 390. Number converted on spreadsheet 110 - actual 135. So unless some miracle happens (no idea what that might be) it will have to get authority to issue more shares. It simply has no choice with Bracknor having 255 CLN to convert. So likely to be sub 1p before long. Shame and I hope Phillips or one of the big med equip companies take it over from the wreckage. | smithless
01/6/2017 18:36 | They have to call a GM within 45 days. They need to give at least 2 weeks notice of the meeting. Full year results are due by end Jun (out 31 May last year) so I would expect that rather than have a separate meeting they will look to roll the resolutions into the full AGM. They also need to get authority to issue more shares. | sweet karolina
01/6/2017 17:21 | Yes smithless, they may be happy, but should the regulator be happy? Moreover, is the regulator even aware that there is a situation here? | vatnabrekk
01/6/2017 13:29 | Jaknife - sorry something got lost in translation. Subject to 11th hour miracle, as just before the last 10 day period came to an end,an EGM should have to be called. The problem is, as I found with Cloudtag, these CLN providers can change whatever was put in the original agreement to suit and may be happy with the current NV agreement. | smithless
01/6/2017 12:44 | vatnabrek, Correct, today is the 12th day. 15/05/2017 27.5 16/05/2017 26.5 17/05/2017 25.75 18/05/2017 25.25 19/05/2017 24 22/05/2017 22.75 23/05/2017 22.5 24/05/2017 22.5 25/05/2017 22.25 26/05/2017 21 30/05/2017 21 31/05/2017 21.5 01/06/2017 21.125 | andy
01/6/2017 09:39 | vatnabrekk - I think the way around the issue has been highlighted by Jaknife. | smithless
31/5/2017 16:56 | Last time the share price (mid) closed at 27.5 was on 15th May, and it's closed below that every day since. So yesterday, Tuesday 30th, was the 10th trading day that it has closed below 110% of it's par value. If I've calculated that right, then surely the requirement to call an EGM has now been triggered? | vatnabrekk |
