The chart pattern I mentioned on 10 Apr, a Measured Move toward 280 has almost completed to target. In the process price has confirmed an Inverse Head and Shoulders tp=300 I would guess a consolidation zone will occur on the way. Edit added 18/04/2017 13:07, re earlier post no 2814, I wrote this, "From a timing pov, the recent consolidation here precisely matches the previous one at 17 trading sessions prior to breakout. The prior consolidation to breakout peak was completed after a total of 25 sessions which corresponds to the 18/04/2017." Having checked the chart today, I can see it has now adjusted for the holiday. 25 sessions now corresponds to 20/04/2017.

Bought a few here today as it looks like a pattern with a tp of approx 280 will be confirmed at the close. From a timing pov, the recent consolidation here precisely matches the previous one at 17 trading sessions prior to breakout. The prior consolidation to breakout peak was completed after a total of 25 sessions which corresponds to the 18/04/2017. It will be interesting to see if the timings coincide again. gla

I sat across the table from then the last CEO and Penny 6 years ago and said I felt this ought to be a £500m company. Glad to see it

IMHO AMS will be looking very attractive to a large pharma, cash in the bank with a good product line and massive potential in the USA.

Good set of solid results, increased dividend + "I am pleased to report a 20% increase in revenue to £82.6 million (2015: £68.6 million), representing growth of 13% on a constant currency basis and an increase in adjusted6 profit before tax before exceptional items of 13% to £19.7 million (2015: £17.4 million), and an increase in profit before taxation of 12% to £19.1million (2015: £17.0 million). The continued strong cash flow generation of the business has resulted in the Group ending the year with net cash of £51.1 million (2015: £34.2 million)."

Interesting article: "A medical superglue developed by a British company for surgeons to use in operations instead of sutures or staples could be on the market for the first time as early as next year. Advanced Medical Solutions (AMS), a Cheshire-based maker of wound dressings and surgical equipment, developed the glue, called Liquiband Fix8, at its manufacturing and R&D facility in Plymouth. It’s already being used by surgeons in Europe doing laparoscopic hernia operations, whereby a mesh is glued to a patient’s tissue, instead of using sharp staples or tacks, which can be painful for a patient after surgery. However, Aim-listed AMS is now working with surgeons in the UK to test the glue in other areas of surgery – general, orthopaedics and obstetrics and gynaecology."
