USA interest rate rise dollar stronger could be the trigger for a USA based pharma to make a move on AMS IMHO.

BlackRock, Inc. increased their holding by just short of 2m they must be confident the share price will hold at these levels.

Good call Norbus, I thought it might breakout but I was wrong. My top up price looks steep now but shouldn't be an issue over the the coming months.

This may now retrace to 160; they always shoot up when there is a buyer, but soon settle back; I think they will continue slow but sure progress

Global sutures & staples worth around $5 billion according to chart issued in free section of this report - hxxp://www.transparencymarketresearch.com/surgical-equipment-market.html "... the market for surgical sutures and staples market is dominated by mainly Ethicon, Inc., B. Braun Melsungen AG and Covidien plc." (Ethicon is a division of J&J BTW). So would J&J be an obvious candidate for bid??

Yes the US suture market range is worth 1b dollars. IMHO AMS are starting to look like a real target indeed.

For some reason I never get RNS alerts from lse about AMS. I get email alerts for my other companies no problem.Good news this morning, as someone commented before the USA opportunity is exciting. Wouldn't surprise me to see AMS taken out in the next couple years if keeps progressing

Octopus is more VCT's. They have gradually increased their stake over the years.
