02/7/2020 08:40 | Ptookey, There are many heartfelt concerns raised in the hearing. It is right that those should be heard and properly considered. It is my belief, however, that the vast majority demonstrate very little understanding of the AEG process. The complaints centre around these themes: Cumulative impact - there are already polluters. Environmental racial justice - predominantly black and indigenous populations Comparisons with Enviva plants - which use a different process The community has had a hard time with hurricanes and flooding, they shouldn't have to have a plant too. Water permits have expired (they are not AEG permits - they relate to a prior entity. Although that does raise questions about future water permits...) This permit is for a smaller plant than AEG ultimately intend to run. The technology is untested. The company lacks financial resources and are raising cash. Large quantities of trees will be cut down for pellets. Impact on carbon emissions Discharge of pollutants It is up to AEG to respond to the community by providing better quality data and education. 01/7/2020 22:40 | Permit is only a very small part, yes it's important, however AEG moved into profit and it was from the plant, they have other income streams.Permit only affects the CoalSwitch plant doesn't have anything to with Partners in Canada #RMDE, who are most likely to have a plant running and paying royalties before AEG plant. | isa2020
01/7/2020 19:11 | Having listened to the objections at the virtual meeting can anyone explain the apparent confidence among posters here that the permit will in fact be given. I hold a lot of these shares for the record but it seems like a penny share punt as ever | ptookey
01/7/2020 13:58 | Once the permit is in place hopefully they will then, pretty quickly, hear on progress from RMDE pellet plant/s in Canada 2nd shift to commence in approx 2 weeks bringing with it additional turnover and site efficiencies for the whole Lumberton plant then C/S plant adds to turnover and more overall cost efficiencies towards the end of this year, plus there looks to be plenty of spare capacity in the plant to grow into or even rent out or JV with other green companies While they are working hard on Lumberton opportunities they still have in the background :- New Lumber contracts RMDE updates Peatswitch development Litterswitch devopement Potentially more C/S licenses - maybe Canada/Asia Newfoundland - either progress shortly or this will be lost I guess Poland Superfuel - not sure whats happening with this as seemed to be parked for now but still have the approval certificates Recent Experienced Director recruitment - wonder what they are working on? Still very strong support from CLN holders both current and new by the looks of things! My first target to reach is now 1.6p - with a few large gaps to fill on the way up to 1.6p then onto 2p - so I am predicting this could move quickly to 1.5 to 1.6p on news due to the trade gaps in place when this dropped like a stone Then see what happens with the CLN's as AEG need some of these converting to take some of the debt away (if conversion takes place this should then boost up to 2p plus IMHO) The good thing is that you can buy at the moment cheaper than the conversation rate at 1p -but only just though! Renewable shares seem to be pretty investable right now! My opinion only - please do your own research - Good Luck All | grsshaw1
