Held ACD in 3 different accounts, the money's in from idealing and YouInvest, but still waiting from selftrade. After the recent developments with Equiniti, why doesn't this surprise me!? Did anyone else hold ACD with selftrade, and have you received anything yet?

Here's another idea, Volta ;
Investec;

Following the Company's statement in its December 2014 monthly report that it expected to be admitted to trading on the LSE by mid-February 2015, the Company has suffered a delay due to an unforeseen technicality relating to the eligibility criteria for listing on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority The Board remains committed to seeking admission to trading on the LSE and, subject to obtaining shareholderapproval for the changes to the investment policy, the Company anticipates becoming admitted to trading on the LSE during May 2015.

Investec Insight

¢ As we have previously highlighted, VTA looks especially attractive at current levels of discount, especially when comparables like the London listed Carador (CIFU) and Blackstone GSO Loan Financing (BGLF) are trading at small premiums to NAV and are invested in roughly the same areas.

¢ Returns have been excellent over the full cycle and AXA, the Paris based manager, has managed to deliver annualised returns of 10.7% over the most volatile period in the history of the asset class.

¢ The fund has been hampered by the poor liquidity on the Euronext and we believe the planned London listing should help with both the profile of the fund and liquidity of its shares going forward.

May well update the Header this weekend. A brief look at September's Tender/Continuation RNS - I don't see any mention of an ongoing dividend. Is that so; or did I miss something?

Indeed, they look as if they will continue to trade close to the 5% discount level.

It is indeed a great result, thanks to skyship for alerting me to ACD way back when the share price was languishing around the 80p level.

As an aside, I held ACD in several accounts and elected to keep 1 account running. Presumably those choosing to continue holding, will not find themselves out of pocket with the opening price/value of their holding in the new entity?

Confirmed price of 111.06p, and a wonderful result. The end of another chapter, and we now proceed in the search for the next one. Thanks to SKYSHIP, and well done to all that sailed!

Do you know when the payout is going to be made? I thought it was this month...

The discount shouldn't widen any further:

" The continuing vehicle will implement a new discount control policy, adopting a maximum discount target of 5 per cent.; undertaking share buybacks to support this target; and putting forward a continuation vote at each annual general meeting"

It was a case of having some spare cash when the payout value was announced, so could repurchase at 104.88p rather than wait - as I suspected the discount would narrow when the payout actually takes place. In fact it looks like that may be starting. A turn of ~6p well covers expenses, esp with no sdrt.

I also suspect the discount will later gradually widen again, perhaps giving room for further arbitrage.

The advantage of bb's like this is that we can watch out for each other - someone usually spots these things and comments.

deadly, I nearly overlooked it too, as the tender wasn't referred to in the RNS title. It was issued on 5th Sept, with the title of 'Notice of EGM', see below:

Ok, I now realise that I wasn't told of the tender by my stockbrokers so missed it. But AFAIK no clear RNS was issued about it.

It's only a "gift" for those of us who tendered and are about to be paid 111 or thereabouts for our shares. But it doesn't look like many of us want to take advantage of that contango...

So why hasn't the discount closed? buying now at 105.5 for 111 in Feb looks a gift.

Yeah, thank you very much Skyship for bringing ACD to my attention too, been a great investment.

I hold ACD in a couple of accounts and have decided to leave around 30% to run in the new vehicle, so will be interesting to see how it performs.

Amen to that ....& as I said in the Header (Feb'12):

"I’m sure we will all play with the figures as we progress over the next 3 years…"

Looks as though that 3 was a typo for 2!

As boadicea says, ACD lives on of course...so we will see how things go from here...

Yes, a good result if confirmed by audit.
A shade short of my earlier hope but well sufficient to justify the decision to cash up the current holding to invest in the continuing company - which I have already done. About 5.7% immediate return after costs on a few weeks overlap in investment (subject to audit).
Just hope the audit finds no bugs.
