05/1/2022 15:55 | Exactly!I'm awaiting the mid January update they mention in the October TU.If nothing negative there I will be taking a few.Good luck | riviera1069
05/1/2022 15:50 | Produce an absolutely essential product so would think any cost pressures should be being passed on to the consumers. | justiceforthemany
05/1/2022 15:40 | Waiting on the sidelines here. Researched this company and looking to invest. But how low is this going to go. Finger poised! | riviera1069
30/12/2021 15:34 | I too got screwed early doors post listing. But I believe the company is now derisked, transparent and well managed. The valuation is not dear in slightest (market cap to forward profits) and the balance sheet robust. Their current operational issues can be fixed as and when. Well owned at institutional level means tightly held. Suspect more likely upside than down from current prices - imo. | value viper
30/12/2021 13:44 | Fish = dosh - bloody corrective text. | husbod
30/12/2021 13:43 | Thanks for that. Like others here I bought in shortly after it went public only to lose a shed full of fish due to the accident they omitted to mention in the prospectus. It seemed a relatively minor issue to me but the share price tanked and I sold at a material loss. It was mentioned recently in one of the publications so I put it on my watch list but the share price has gradually subsided ever since.I am not currently minded to try to recover some of the losses from my original venture and your post reinforced this view. | husbod
29/12/2021 09:54 | you are buying low, with the aim of selling high. well done. | arbus5000
29/12/2021 09:09 | Bottom drawered a holding | value viper
21/12/2021 16:33 | Perhaps but this has taken a massive hit already and was strongly tipped by all and sundry only recently | justiceforthemany
16/12/2021 13:14 | I have been invested in Accrol previously too, but the same as steveieweebie2 not now, watching and waiting I too have been involved with this market not as long as you but certainly 30 years I invested at ipo and got their first few dividends (yes they did pay them) been interesting to watch to see where they take it, unless a manufacturer needs more converting capacity which I doubt and it gets sold Far safer growth stories for my money right now | stevesham
16/12/2021 12:52 | 18th Jan will tell you all you need to know. ive made a note as that may or may not provide a decent entry point, what the price will do is anyones guess. | stevieweebie2
16/12/2021 12:49 | No not at all, and I agree with your point. I only started investing in acroll since 2017. My view is that this should not be news at acroll, if they have spent a modicum of effort on planning for contingencies for potential supply issues, as opposed to taking punts on the value of the pound as they did previously. I'm happy to have a small put on a tissue convertor, not a hedge fund! | arbus5000
16/12/2021 12:29 | okay Arbus, you know better than me.. its not as if the mills have had a 200% gas price increase thats being passed on to the convertors that dont have thier own mill and theres a shortage of parent reels in the market... oh wait. | stevieweebie2
16/12/2021 12:18 | Regardless of the extent of the verticals, it is located in one of the most densly populated parts of w. Europe. You can't really fly in jumbo jets of bog-rollz from far-flung places.... | arbus5000
16/12/2021 12:08 | Stev I have over 40 yrs in this Industry and know all the manufactures very well and have been invested in ACRL but Im not now, take from that what you will... | stevieweebie2
16/12/2021 10:18 | stevieweebie2 Good point as Accrol don't (yet) make paper they only convert it from parent reels Wonder how their plan to open an actual mill is going? If I was one of the actual paper manufacturers I would keep all the reels for myself (unless they were not that good) But what do I know Plus they will have to pay market prices, the manufacturers plus their margins and increased input costs | stevesham
16/12/2021 10:14 | its okay until you cant get the reels to make the bogrolls.... | stevieweebie2
16/12/2021 09:59 | Another lockdown beckons and I'm short of bogroll ATM. I have a position so will hold. | arbus5000
16/12/2021 07:26 | Interims due on 18 January. No current position. | masurenguy
25/11/2021 17:28 | Nice rise today on good volume. Looking like the down trend is about to end.Let's hope this has a good run now! | wallywoo
15/11/2021 16:36 | Strongly tipped but continues to move lower. | justiceforthemany
08/11/2021 16:42 | 2x 1 Million gone through - listed as a buy but no share price movement | justiceforthemany
02/11/2021 16:15 | Bought in here. Being tipped by many including Times & Shares magazine. | justiceforthemany
20/10/2021 09:45 | I will be doubling my holding when I decide that the knife has hit the floor. there is a big long term potential. | this_is_me |
