You're quite right ,rivaldo. I carelessly got my decimal point wrong, so understated it by a factor of ten!

No. The buy trade at 2010p was for over £9,000 (by someone else for 457 shares, not me, otherwise I'd have said so explicitly).

Buying coming in at 2020p now with a trade of just over £10,000.

I wonder if you meant "I'm buying" or "someone's buying? Anyway it's only one person and not even a grand's worth! Doesn't really signify anything but, as you say, let's hope for an 'ath' soon.

More this morning on Merlin's bidding for the Busch Gardens theme parks in Williamsburg, Va. and Tampa:

The biggest threat to TicketMaster is actually Amazon, who have stated they are moving into this space. In a few years time TicketMaster will cease to exist.

Merlin are looking to buy the Busch Gardens theme parks in Virginia and Florida from SeaWorld - so more likely business for ACSO once it happens:

ACSO must be on Ticketmaster's radar.

I tried to use Ticketmaster today to buy tickets for a Spurs match. They (Ticketmaster) are rubbish. I wish Accesso would displace them at THFC!

Travel ticketing is a specialist business. Not Accesso's sector I think.

Nice move up - I'm liking the £52,000 buy at 1910p followed by a £20,000 buy at 1960p.

Chris Grayling won't deliver it, that's for sure. Accesso very possibly might.

Now I wonder who has a Smart Ticket business....?'Plans to replace paper tickets on UK trains are to be accelerated, Transport Secretary Chris Grayling has said.Passengers will be able to use mobile phones and smartcards to travel across most of the network by the end of 2018, he told the Conservative conference. People "want smart ticketing and we will deliver it"," he said.'spud

More detail on that ACSO upgrade - incidentally it's increased to 2151p, NOT the 2115p per the article:

http ://www.proactiveinvestors.co.uk/companies/news/184828/city-broker-thinks-accesso-shares-are-now-worth-more-than-21-after-last-weeks-solid-interims-184828.html

"City broker thinks Accesso shares are now worth more than £21 after last week’s “solid” interims

10:19 29 Sep 2017

“The major driver to our target price increasing from £17.47 to £21.15 is the roll-forward of our base valuation year to reflect a full-year contribution from the Ingresso and TE2 acquisitions”

Analysts at N+1 Singer have upgraded their recommendation and hiked their price target for ticket and queue management firm Accesso Technology Group PLC (LON:ACSO) following last week’s “solid” set of interims.

Accesso signed up 40 new clients in the first half which helped it deliver an adjusted operating profit – which is what it considers to be a key underlying metric – of US$46.6mln (H1 2016: US$39.7mln).

N+1’s Adam Lawson has upped his full-year earnings per share forecast to reflect a lower effective tax rate but said the main reason for his bullish outlook is because of the impact of recent acquisitions.

“The major driver to our target price increasing from £17.47 to £21.15 is the roll-forward of our base valuation year to reflect a full-year contribution from the Ingresso and TE2 acquisitions,” Lawson wrote in a note this morning.

This increase, together with improving earnings momentum, drives our upgrade from ‘hold’ to ‘buy’.”

Very encouraging, but daft at the same time. I do dislike this spurious accuracy. Why not round it off to 2,150p?

topvest : The FT article referenced above (John Lee interviewed David Shredder) was how I learned of the company. It mentioned Shredder had seen his shares rise by a multiple of 225 since 2003. Nice result!

I actually bought these in the float on OFEX may moons ago and promptly lost half my money. I bought a load sub 10p and needless to say they would be worth many millions if I now held them. A made a very tidy profit but not the life changing profit it could have been. Such is life.

What's Next?

Ocean Medallion Technology is now fitted on three of Princess Cruises' ships -- Caribbean Princess, Royal Princess and now Regal Princess. While Carnival Corp. has made no decision on which ship or line it will roll out on next, we do know that the goal is to have it installed on the entire Princess fleet within two years.

John Padgett revealed that he'll be onboard for the first sailing in November: "Once Regal Princess is in action we will see how the guests respond and that will tell us everything: Do we need to adjust? Do we need to speed up? Are they loving it? Do we need to finish the Princess fleet before we move onto another brand? We've made no decisions on any of that yet. We know our beginning point and we know our end point (for all Carnival Corp. fleets to be Ocean Medallion Class vessels), but we're flexible here [for the middle part]."

Whitman Howard have issued a brief update entitled "Post analyst meeting feedback" FYI.

They retain their Buy and 2,000p target. A couple of snippets - sounds like management are priming the analysts to expect more news from the Asia-Pacific region, including China:

"The Board are confident are making FY estimates and we reiterate this confidence. H2 will have the full summer trading months and the added benefit of both recent acquisitions which are progressing to plan, and the recent Village Roadshow
contract win in Australia."

"ACSO continues to benefit underlying growth in theme parks as well as the increasingly connected nature of venues. We retain our positive view. Management continued to highlight the potential of the Asia-Pacific region and the importance of being taken in to the Chinese market by Merlin. ACSO is supported by significant long term contracts (Merlin, Six Flags, Village Roadshow) with clear visibility and an improving mix of the higher margin ticketing sales."
