Thanks for the kind words Saucepan, I have to thank Spud/Rivaldo personally.

Anyway as you say they have become the people to go to if you need to build revenues in your park and as the presentation said "it's very difficult for people to jump on board or keep up with ACSO"

Cheers, Panic Investor. I have you to thank for the alert. Anything (rightfully) compared to KWS piques my interest as worth further investigation. I agree re the similar barriers to entry.

I was impressed with the March 2017 Presentation, available on the Company website. I noted that 2016/17 had been flagged as an R&D year (though excellent progress was made all the same). That investment should hopefully soon kick in to further accelerate growth.

Alpha - Buffett goes to great lengths empasising the importance of so called "Super Stocks". I don't think its too much of an exaggeration to include ACSO in that category.

It's probably also responsible for creating quite a few paper millionaires over the past decade as well...

I agree. It's an attraction in itself let alone aiding entry to others!

One of my best share strategies:

1. Buy ACSO shares
2. Do nothing.

Hi folks. I bought in here this morning after some weekend research. I am surprised it has taken me so long to discover this stock, but it clearly has a lot further to go.

"accesso® partners Florida Attractions Association to deliver ‘hassle-free’ ticket privilege programme

28th April 2017

Leading technology solutions provider, accesso, has announced a new partnership with the Florida Attractions Association (FAA) to streamline its attractionShare programme.

The customisable accesso ShoWareSM solution will be implemented to help the FAA improve its ticketing process. The cloud-based Software-as-a-Service for ticket sales and distribution will also provide key data for the association.

attractionShare is an exclusive programme that allows its primary-level attractions members to share ticket privileges with employees of other member attractions.

The new accesso-powered attractionShare website will provide a seamless experience for administrators. They will be able to view complimentary and discounted tickets from over 80 attractions, including water parks, zoos, museums, aquariums, tours and more. Those selected can then simply be printed out and distributed to employees.

“We are thrilled to work with our partners at accesso to introduce an all-new ticketing solution for our popular attractionShare programme,” confirmed Bill Lupfer, President and CEO of the Florida Attractions Association.

“attractionShare is designed to offer an added benefit to our members, and the accesso ShoWare solution has helped make the process more convenient, efficient and hassle-free.”

Additionally, the FAA will benefit from improved data-gathering and reporting functionality. The leading-edge platform will allow the association to effortlessly track attraction participation, ticket availability and other user data. This means it can dispense with the need for manual data collection and entry.

“accesso is proud to partner with the Florida Attractions Association to provide a seamless ticketing and reporting process for attractionShare,” added Steve Brown, accesso CEO.

“Our partnership illustrates the attraction industry’s need for a high-quality ticketing solution, and our accesso ShoWare solution offers the latest technology to meet that need.”

Over 1,000 attractions and venues worldwide currently benefit from accesso technology including theme parks, water parks, cultural attractions and live performance venues. The company’s client roster features many leading names in the leisure industry including Six Flags Entertainment, Cedar Fair Entertainment, Merlin Entertainments, International Speedway Corporation, Palace Entertainment, Compagnie des Alpes and Herschend Family Entertainment."

News - Six Flags are re-taking control of Waterworld California, which they developed but then was sold and operated by Premier Parks.

Looks like ACSO are bound to get the opportunity to install their wristbands at another water park:

Also, here's Six Flags' Q1 conference call transcript - no specific mention of ACSO or Prism etc, but there are lots of references to expanding their water parks, which has to be to ACSO's advantage. For example:

"I'm especially excited about the potential to bundle our existing theme parks in a market with a nearby water park to offer combo theme and water park season pass.

In the case of Oaxtepec, we took over operations of an unprofitable water park at no cost, refurbished it with a new capital investment, and expect to see meaningful earnings contributions in the near term. In other likely deals, we may simply acquire or lease an existing water or theme park and enhance its profitability with our scale and season pass bundling."

Brief note in The Times - maybe Rollo has pointed out some other underappreciated stocks in the sector...

'In the leisure sector, Merlin Entertainments was up 14p to 499¾p after a note from Morgan Stanley highlighted the “underappreciated” opportunity to develop further themed hotels at its resorts and theme parks, notably at its Legoland parks. Jamie Rollo, the broker’s leisure guru, reckons that, alongside the continued rollout of attractions such as Madame Tussauds and Dungeon, the hotel opportunity could help to drive Merlin to £10 by 2022.'
