Sale of AI ControlPoint Limited
Access Intelligence plc (AIM: ACC), a leading supplier of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions for reputation management, announces that it has sold the entire issued share capital of AI ControlPoint Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company to the Norwegian company, One Voice AS, a leading provider of software solutions for emergency preparedness and crisis management.
AI ControlPoint is a provider of cloud-based Crisis and Incident Management solutions to highly regulated industries such as Oil and Gas, Aviation and Local Government. AIControlPoint has developed a state of the art product set which has been rolled out to existing clients and provides opportunity to gain further market share.
The Directors of Access Intelligence considered that AI ControlPoint's business did not fit strategically with Access Intelligence's core reputation management business. Furthermore, they believed that the time was now right for AIControlPoint to be sold to a new owner with the vision to support it through the next phase of its business development into other industries and geographies.
