Strengths The group's activity appears highly profitable thanks to its outperforming net margins. The group usually releases upbeat results with huge surprise rates. The equity is one of the most attractive in the market with regard to earnings multiple-based valuation. The company is one of the best yield companies with high dividend expectations. Analysts covering this company mostly recommend stock overweighting or purchase. The difference between current prices and the average target price is rather important and implies a significant appreciation potential for the stock. Weaknesses With relatively low growth outlooks, the group is not among those with the highest revenue growth potential.

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) - Natixis and Crédit Agricole SA gained ground on Thursday morning, posting increases of 3% and 1.9% respectively, following the 5% increase in the price target of equity analysts. Swiss credit. The financial intermediary now aims at 4.4 euros for Natixis, against 4.2 euros previously, and 15 euros for Crédit Agricole SA, against 14.5 euros, arguing that payment services are a rapidly growing business "of which the market neglects the value ". "France is a country where traditional banks are still important players in the payments market," said analyst Jon Peace. According to him, "CASA and Natixis Payments activities (within their own scope and excluding issuer services) could represent 2.3 billion euros and 1.5 billion euros respectively, or about 7% and 13% of their market capitalization ". Credit Suisse has a "neutral" opinion on Natixis and "outperform" on Crédit Agricole SA. Credit Agricole SA (ACA.FR) said Thursday that Banque des Territoires and Groupe Groupama have agreed to enter the capital of its renewable-energy investment subsidiary Predica Energies Durables. Once the transaction is complete, Banque des Territoires and Groupama will hold 22% and 18% of PED respectively, while the French bank will hold the remaining 60%. PED, a subsidiary of the bank's insurance arm, is an investment vehicle focused on renewable energy production assets, and was founded in partnership with France's Engie SA (ENGI.FR). The entry of these two new investors in PED's capital will increase its capacity to invest, Credit Agricole said. The transaction is expected to close by December this year. The offer is 0.168 X the Barrick share price so the current price if ACA is actually at a discount to the offer price.

So what am I missing, we are now higher than the offer price, has there been a counter bid or just speculation?

Credit Agricole SA's (ACA.FR) Caceis Bank subsidiary on Friday said it launched an all cash offer for the acquisition of KAS Bank NV (KA.AE). Caceis submitted an offer of 12.75 euros ($14.20) a share for KAS Bank, valuing the Dutch bank at EUR187 million, Caecis said. The offer period begins on July 29 and ends Sept. 23, with the transaction expected to close in the second half of 2019, the French bank said. KAS Bank's management and supervisory boards unanimously support and recommend the offer, it added. This acquisition of KAS will enhance Caceis's ability to serve pension fund, insurance company and asset-management company client as well as strengthen its standing in the Netherlands, Caceis said. "We are delighted to be taking these steps towards strengthening our market share in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK," Caceis Chief Executive Jean-Francois Abadie said. "This deal is an excellent opportunity to bring significant pension fund servicing expertise into the Caceis group," he added. Write to Patrick Costello at patrick.costello@dowjones.com. Odey has to come back soon if at all, but 2.32 not bad and sold assets of ACA after TO likely to yield further gain. Papers acting as if its all done and dusted. I think not.

No news yet from Odey. He had said he would refuse anything below 270p but that could have been part of the haggling process.

Should be at least a month or so to organise an EGM and then a good few weeks to deal with the red tape. Another share I'm in also had a scheme of arrangement offer and it took more than three months from announcement of the definitive agreement to the AGM to vote on it.

Will be interesting to see if there will be a counter offer and if Odey/Fidelity etc agree. ACA should move in lock step with Barrick now. I wonder if GoT will keep the pressure on or if, magically, things will go quiet.

Interesting that despite the tailings ban and potential export ban for North Mara that the shareprice is holding up. Seems that the consensus of the market is that the risks are more than worth it at a shareprice of 180p, which given the risks involved ought to imply a substantial upside.

Will be interesting to see if Odey will take advantage of any dip in the shareprice. It's a game of brinkmanship and the options are narrowing down for all involved. I rather fancy a shoot out in arbitration.

If they are unable to use the TSF, processing will stop on 20 July a few hours before 06h00. No processing means no gold from North Mara. Buzwagi will then be the only mine producing a reasonable quantity of gold. Very bad news in the short term.
