10/3/2002 18:55 | I can see into the future : NEWS RELEASE 11th MARCH 2003....... Abinger Launch bid for Nomura !! Abinger shares hit an all time peak today of £10.00 on rumour of its cheeky bid for Nomura !! Investors are retireing all over the place & the Bahamas is now Full !! Anyone remember when Durlacher was 2p in 1998 & hit an all time high of £20.00 during the tech boom PART 1 ?.... mmmmmmmm Similarities are here with ABINGER INVESTMENTS !!!!!!!! | mioldmucker
10/3/2002 18:41 | Aggressive Saver - its gonna bore you when I come clean. If you're after a quick profit in hours instead of months, then forget my next tip. But if you're prepared to sit tight, risk a little, be speculative and back a tired old company with recovery potential and a big turnover, then follow suit!! Results due next month will be per market exectation. But good news on the horizon methinks. Will come clean this week. Abinger news will come soon - maybe this week, maybe April - but the support is coming through - sit tight and enjoy the ride, but we may have to be patient - but this time next year we'll be looking back smiling. :o) Read up some of your threads per your suggestion - you look medium / long term too! Keep the enthusiasm up, there's few decent threads out there - too much short-termism. | itsourpete
10/3/2002 18:29 | Yep, This one is being tipped all over the shop !! Should start to wake up soon !! | mioldmucker
10/3/2002 18:26 | tipped by sqc brokers and on bloomberg, thisismoney. About to go skyward? | itsourpete
09/3/2002 20:57 | This one is being tipped by every man & his dog !! On the way home to Euston station the cab driver gave me this tip & said that he had heard it from a well connected customer that big things are in the offing. | mioldmucker
07/3/2002 22:53 | hi itsourpete, I really think your thread pennys from heaven is great and look forward to penny's from heaven 2. I own 55,000 Abinger Investments shares from back in November. I am really suspicious of how the mm's have changed the way they do the spread like what happened to Energis and Cater Bernard the first day they started taking of when they used to trade in 1/4p's and now 1/10's. I think the mm's only start doing this when they expect more investors to invest and want to encourage them to keep selling and buying the same shares as they have the best spreads compared to other companies on the LSE, which also incourages daytraders and shortermists to their market. I would appreciate that tip you were on about if you think its up to Monotub, Sportworld Media and Netwindfall's standards. Kind Regards Aggressive Saver | aggressive saver
07/3/2002 22:24 | northwards we go come monday | mioldmucker
07/3/2002 15:36 | I think we may have trouble getting much above 1.25 because there are 100,000,000 new shares just been issued (Recent placing £1M) at 1p, so any rise above that is money in the bank for the newer shareholders. Just need to wait for the good news to get this moving. | m25
06/3/2002 20:02 | bid up from1p to 1.2p and offer from 1.22 to 1.5p - it looks as though its about to tick up? | itsourpete
06/3/2002 15:36 | JUST SEEN THEM MENTIONED ON BLOOMBERG, SAID IT WAS A VERY INTERESTING PENNY STOCK WHICH SHOULD BE TUCKED AWAY!! | mioldmucker
06/3/2002 10:41 | well we are getting close to when anyone who bought after the newspaper article nearly 2 weeks ago on A T+10 for a quick punt, has either got to stump up the cash and buy the shares or close there positions?, so lets see what happens? | goldtrader
05/3/2002 19:30 | so, 700,000 shares bought today and no sells! Who's accumulating? | itsourpete
05/3/2002 00:01 | now that T trade is out of the way are we going to see some upward movement? | goldtrader
04/3/2002 21:17 | PILE IN IF YOU ARE BRAVE ENOUGH is my motto !! | mioldmucker
04/3/2002 21:04 | goldtrader - yes, i think! 1.2pps looks cheap. | itsourpete
04/3/2002 21:02 | M25 - gut feelings I suppose - Yes Galleon & CFA & £1m cash in hand - sharenet.co.uk looks good too. 25%spread? yep MMs cautious and trying not to be caught out at short notice. I'm looking for the snippet of news too and hoping that Directors are behind some of the buying. Market cap up 400% since June and will increase although share issues likely to hold back steep rises in short term. Not a stock for volitile day trading but one to tuck away, adding to occasionally if all goes to plan! | itsourpete
04/3/2002 07:17 | itsourpete : Please could you elaborate about the "there's been a lot of activity behind the scenes this winter". The two acquisitions are well documented but any other info would be much appreciate. The recent buying phase of the stock has all been small amounts. Hardly any are more than 100,000 (£1,000) so unless some bigger buyers arrive I can't see this moving especially with a 25% spread (wish I was an MM). What might make it move is a nice snippet of news. The sector does not look too rosey at the moment with the boss's (Steven Barclay) ex company (Seymour Pierce) trading near its lows. I do hold mainly based on SB's track record at share price | m25
03/3/2002 22:54 | Sounds very positive, and a realistic veiw, stay clued to this one for a few days I think. Sounds like it might make a good long term punt. Cheers | jase21
03/3/2002 22:48 | Jase21 - to coin an expression I'm cautiously optimistic. I expect continued heavy buying so price will tick up this week - but don't expect to retire by the end of the week. Target = 2p mid by end of week. Longer term, expect more director share purchases sub 5p then anything between 15p and 50p in 12 months. Could be wrong - but there's been a lot of activity behind the scenes this winter and a lot of heavy buying last week. | itsourpete
03/3/2002 22:42 | What are your share price projections for the coming weeks months then. | jase21 |
