PURCHASE OF OWN ORDINARY SHARES

On 30 May 2023 abrdn New India Investment Trust plc (the "Company") purchased in the market 16,511 Ordinary 25p shares ("Ordinary share(s)") at a price of 540.0 pence per Ordinary share. These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

55,162,173 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

3,907,967 Ordinary shares held in treasury

59,070,140 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
