Retirement of Non-Executive Director

The Directors of Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Limited (the "Company") confirm the retirement of George Baird from the Board with effect from the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting held today.

The Directors wish to record their sincere thanks to George for his significant contribution as a Director since the launch of the Company in 2010, and as Chairman of the Audit Committee since 2015. As announced in the Annual Report, Heather MacCallum will assume the role of Audit Committee Chair with immediate effect.
