On 18 October 2019 Aberdeen Diversified Income and Growth Trust plc purchased in the market 47,500 ordinary shares at a price of 107.5789 pence per share. These shares will be held in treasury.

Following the transaction, the Company's share capital will comprise:

322,146,205 Issued Ordinary shares (excluding treasury shares)

43,264,669 Ordinary shares held in treasury

365,410,874 Issued Ordinary shares (including treasury shares)
