Update out:

The Group has performed well in 2017 and the Board expects revenue and profit before tax (excluding share option charges and latest IFRS 15 adjustments) to be slightly ahead of analysts' forecasts. The Board has chosen early adoption of IFRS 15, from 1 March 2017, and this is expected to lead to a reduction in the level of reported revenue for the year to 31 August 2017, but with no consequential impact on profit before tax. Despite the adoption of IFRS 15, it is anticipated that reported revenue will nevertheless remain in-line with current market expectations.

Expect a trading update in the next few days.
The last three years the updates have been on:

30 September 2014
7 October 2015
2 October 2016

All the recent news has been encouraging so, hopefully, the update should give the share price a shot in the arm.

Cannacord is not an institution, it's a broker. The holdings are the aggregate for its discretionary clients. The declaration is due to it taking over Hargreave Hale and aggregating the HH nominee holdings with its own.

Schroeders looks okay.

jg - I met TR a couple of times and I would say he was a very straightforward and competent guy. So yes it was a pity. Hopefully the new management will reach out to private investors.

A nice consolation with the Chinese deal. ABDP are not ones for making loads of unnecessary announcements so I guess this must be significant. Maybe we will get another announcement when ABDP's new facility is opened in a month or two.

anyone else disappointed to see Tim Rogers go. Never met him, but the videos of mgmt. presentations featuring him reflected very positively. seems there are genuine, innocent reasons behind his departure, but still a loss, IMHO

Huge buy (relatively speaking) of 50000 shares at 604p this afternoon.
Possibly the new director in which case there will be an RNS in the next 24 hours.
I think we have a floor for the lead up into the close period.
