09/1/2017 16:05 | Yup all back last week | rhomboid
09/1/2017 16:04 | Anyone received their surplus funds back yet. Shocking it should take so long given the shares were allocated on 28/12Someone's obviously getting the interest! | tratante
04/1/2017 10:29 | Barclays tell me the allocation will be sorted this week. | mikeduckett
03/1/2017 18:00 | Cash back this week I'm told by one broker, 7 to 10 days by another so some day soon then..I've got plans for it! | rhomboid
03/1/2017 17:14 | Tomps2 pretty much spot on. 22.79% allocation received. Just need the 77.21% of cash back now lol! | martinthebrave
23/12/2016 09:28 | Perhaps slightly less. I understood that it was 4.4 times oversubscribed, so was expecting 22.72% of what was applied for ...either way, yes around a quarter. | tomps2
23/12/2016 09:10 | Another rise in the share price today, has anyone got any idea of the allocation which will be given to PIs who subscribed to the offer? | 3800
14/12/2016 19:18 | Do idealing have there own holding or do they work through a nominee account? | cleaninsight
14/12/2016 19:16 | Worth pointing out that cut off is 21st dec at 11 am So those who havnt sent the applications back by then may find themselves out | cleaninsight
14/12/2016 19:14 | Definitely idealing not doing its job imho | cleaninsight
14/12/2016 18:46 | melody9999 I feel it's more like idealing who couldn't just be bothered, if they arn't charging you commision they must just feel they would be doing the work for nothing. Both charles stanley and selftrade gave me no problems over this. If it was me I would be considering voting with my feet. 3800 | 3800
14/12/2016 11:53 | melody9999, I think this explains, from RNS dated 6 Dec: In addition, in order to provide Shareholders who do not take part in the Placing with an opportunity to participate in the proposed issue of new Ordinary Shares, the Company is providing all Qualifying Participants with the opportunity to subscribe for an aggregate of up to 210,526 Offer Shares, to raise up to £1 million before expenses (the "Offer"). your broker should have invited you to participate. Mine, (HL) did. | alter ego
14/12/2016 10:49 | Well I'm with idealing and been told that I cannot participate in the placing - even if I wanted to - because it is not an 'open offer'. So why can certain providers issue a corporate action / offer and others cannot? | melody9999
10/12/2016 19:42 | ali4fish - If you don't have a physical share certificate your shares will be in a nominee account. Whether it is ISA or not is irrelevant. Opportunity cost is what you could be doing with the cash while they hold it for you over Christmas. I like to be fully invested at this time of year because most years the market rises 2% - 3% during the second half of December. DYOR. | martinthebrave
10/12/2016 18:39 | thank you Martin- my account is in a non isa account with jarvis- will i be in a simiar situation to yours? i intend to buy for maybe a 5000 pounds worth of shares - i don't mind if the money is held- what is the opportunity cost? i still don't understand in what case a shareholder will be scaled back more favourably? | ali47fish
10/12/2016 15:47 | ali4fish - My ABDP shares are held in a Halifax nominee ISA account. Their "Corporate Action" document states: "Please note that as your AB Dynamics shares are held through a nominee, all elections to subscribe will be treated on a nominee level and MAY therefore be subject to scaling back (reduction in the number of shares applied for) to a greater degree than that of an individual shareholder. Any scaling back will be made in accordance with the instructions from AB Dynamics and we have no influence/control over any scaling back that may affect your share holding." Therefore, whether I hold one share or a million doesn't matter, I can apply for whatever number I want. Then, my application will be put into a single giant application including all Halifax shareholders using a nominee account. This will then be scaled back to a much greater degree than if my own (modest) holding was being assessed on its own because it will be treated as one very large application. This seems unfair. I could commit, say £5k on the 16th to receive a fraction of the shares applied for and I have to wait until the 28th (after any Santa rally) to receive most of my cash back. There is also the opportunity cost? All in all, is it going to be worth doing it was my point? | martinthebrave
10/12/2016 14:36 | martin why is it different from an isa investment- obviously unfair and why are you assumning that the scaling back will be heavy to an extant you are suggesting you wont bother? many thanks for any clarification! | ali47fish
08/12/2016 15:04 | jambo190 thanks | warala
07/12/2016 13:38 | Contacted H/land emails within two days. Thanks martinthebrave | warala
07/12/2016 12:23 | Had the offer through via Halifax. Offer 475p, apply by 14th Dec and any cash return by 28th Dec. Unusually, if the shares are held in a Nominee account all applications from that Nominee are bundled together for "scaling back" purposes. Not happy about this because the cash will be "out of action" for any Santa rally and the scaling back could be heavy. May not bother. | martinthebrave
07/12/2016 07:20 | Has anyone had any information on the shareholders offer.Details on their site Offer closes on 20th December 16 | warala
06/12/2016 21:23 | Wow - excellent. | effortless cool
