Have not had shares in these for a few years
need to say a bit surprised at their recent run so I suppose were susceptible to an IMS which had no new good news

I know they are a good company and they are not an investment trust but to me interesting to see their share price is 375 odd a significant premium to their 300p NAV at Dec 31 12.
I have held in the past and over the last 18 months have looked at getting back in but the pricing always seemed rather rich.
I have read this wrong.

I have not been in this for a couple of years now but follow especially as I find their comments on the Midlands market to be interesting.
The results were not as bad as the fall in share price would suggest; to me the share price has got way ahead of itself in the last couple of weeks; indeed for all their good management and good balance sheet somewhat surprised that they still trade at a premium to NAV after today's fall.
Will not be buying unless they fall much further.

Yes TCM
for a company that has increased 25% in 5 weeks (70p on 270p)it is very quiet around here!

Good results here and the already big dividend is increased. A very good income share.

Very much 'same again' and business as usual. Must be the steadiest listed property business around!

A bit disappointed to see no acquisitions of new properties in the last 6 months, when other companies having been taking advantage of the dip in prices.

I sold out in Jan at £3.20 thinking these were going nowhere. Still keep an eye on them as I do think it is a solid and dependable business so may get back in at some stage for the divi.

Bound to have really. Only forced sellers are selling in this market and values are still going down. MKLW is reasonably safe, with £100m or so of unencumbered property. They will be able to sit it out, which is more than can be said for most other real estate groups. No increase in interim dividend, but hopeful of a small increase at the final otherwise they will blow their dividend increase record which I think goes back to the early 60s.

fairly decent set of interims.
would've preferred if the LTV had not risen since the previous report.
unlikely to require a rights issue.

These are looking interesting now-though the problem is that many other things are also looking interesting.
One reason is that it is at a 50% discount to June NAV and almost at a 10% dividend yield-with hindisght I am not sure they would have increased the dividend which at £10.5m a year is 20% ahead of net cash inflow from operating activities.
What do they have is financial flexibility given their low debt and the extraordinarily attractive terms that they raised £20m from Lloyds this May. This does allow them to buy back their shares on the basis that they get approval in the upcoming AGM and also to buy distressed assets that they know well.
Need to think about over the weekend.
Furthermore The fact that the family has a 36% shareholding does give some stability
