It is market manipulation. If it proves to be true or false it is should not have been leaked to the market in such a way.

rock star: It seems like a Spanish corruption case but will wait and see how it works out. I had shares in a Greek/Crete property share called Minoan. Think it is still quoted. The only reason I got out was I went and had a few drinks with the Cambridge educated owner of the resort a few miles away. He told me of the local political scene..Share price dropped from 90p to in 10p. The good thing is that corruption is so much easier to trace in recent years.

wiseacre: The recent share price weakness may be connected to an FT investigation which has swallowed hook line and sinker the dodgy dossier put together by the greens some years back. Watch this space.

quepassa: welcome back herlat. some time ago you were taunting lango about the rise of the share price on the Bolsa de Madrid. what's your view now please as to why it has fallen back so much to realign - as it had to- with the London market? ALL IMO. DYOR. QP

quepassa: 1. Still no reply from herlat in response to post 2174. You'd think he'd have something to say about the rise and fall of the Spanish share price. Madrid shares now -as predicted- effectively in line with London price. 2. A well-known website of the greens is reporting that the concessionary company for works/empresa concesionaria de los trabajos is removing all its heavy machinery from the site. Anybody know anything about that and/or if that is correct? And if it is correct, why? ALL IMO. DYOR. QP

quepassa: Clearly the move to the Main Board and the new Madrid quotation have done nothing so far to support/stimulate the share price which unfortunately now looks to me like a falling knife. The question is just what has spooked the market so much to cause this massive sell-off at a time when other uranium stocks have been doing well? Berkeley has lost significantly more than 30% since December when by comparison sector bellwether Cameco has GAINED 30% over same time frame. Perhaps other posters, including especially herlat1, would care to share their views and opinions on why the BKY share price has fallen so very much recently at a time when other uranium companies have shown robust positive gains. ALL IMO.DYOR. QP

quepassa: do you have a persecution complex? nothing accusatory whatsoever. if you want accusatory, look no further than herlat1 who accuses anyone of being a green who asks probing questions. a straight question - which deserves a straight answer. To repeat, I am asking for comments on the evolution on the major retracement of the share price over the last twelve months which has proved to be very much at odds with the sky-rocket forecasts of the brokers and others. If you hadn't noticed the share price has fallen from 70p to 45p. I am heavily invested in uranium and if we take a share like Cameco, where I have significant holdings, it is effectively flat over twelve months compared to BKY. It is therefore of interest to me and others perhaps to hear views why the BKY share price has performed the way it has over the same time frame, especially from those who have been most vociferous. If no-one else will respond, prey what are your views please, bookworm, on why the share price has retrenched so very much? ALL IMO. DYOR. QP
