Well at least the clouds have now been lifted and with the early spike in the share price it would appear that the markets feel they got away lightly. Interesting to see now just how far this goes before settling down.

With gvc pulling out of the LADS deal you wonder who will come into their sights888 off highs, summer recess I suspect means autumn actionThey need to buy or be bought.Something has to give

I don't think the HUDS issue is much known about outside the regular pro players. Most of whom play on stars or the smaller softer sites.

pokerscout apparently shows partypoker closing the gap on 888 (according to a poster on GVC), party have had excellent feedback to their new live events.

But poker isn't the major factor in either company.

1) It's only just started happening.
2) They haven't said what the 'offences' actually are that they think have been committed.
3) The implication from the article is that some of the most popular HUDS are the reason for the ban/confiscation.
4) Players use HUDS because they give an advantage over other players.
Which mean players have to use HUDS because other players use HUDS and they would be at a disadvantage if they didn't.
5)The rules are unclear.
6) It is bad for profits to ban people who play a lot because the contribute a lot of rake.
7) It may be good for profits to ban players who win more than they lose, as losing players will last longer and therefore be more likely to make further deposits.
8) It will be devastating for profits if players are seen to have had their balances 'stolen'. Because nobody will play there.
9) IMO 888 need to issue a formal statement urgently.

Yes, I am a poker player online (888 and others) and live (and a shareholder in 888 (and GVC)).

Not only did the poker room boot individuals from its site, but it also confiscated the funds in their accounts. These actions started on Aug. 4, 2017. It's not clear how many users are affected, but it seems that it's a non-trivial percentage of the winning regular players on the 888 poker platform."

Hi, no idea - could be nothing but could crater the share price if bad news. Ig did a 10% gstop which was good enough for me and I'll ratchet it up if this heads up
