Namibia being touted as the next Guyana where US supermajors Exxon and Hess are making discovery after discovery.Next Investors ImageNamibian onshore peer re-rated by over 40x - ReconAfrica drilled its first well at its onshore Namibian project back in 2021. Between 2020 and 2021 Recon's share price went from CAD$0.30 to CAD$12.50+.

Interesting RNS indeed.Not sure how good the onshore prospects in Namibia are. If it's anything like offshore Orange basin, this could be a very good move.Heavily invested in Sintana Energy (TSX) who have recently partaken in Mopane X1, which has turned out to be a major oil discovery, upper and lower Cretaceous reservoirs. JV (GALP, Custos/Sintana, Namcor) estimated mean oil in place for the Mopane structure 10billion barrels of oil in place. Mopane X2, the appraisal is being drilled right now.See the projects page of Private SA operator Rhino resources to get an idea.This is elephant hunting territory for sure.Cash
