23/3/2022 08:06 | Educate yourself. These wells in Alaska do not gush they need horizontal stimulation maybe a bit like yourself. The main thing at this stage is that they have everything they need at the moment for this to be a success but obviously as always in the oil exploration game, can go either way, but looks good at present | neversatisfied
23/3/2022 08:03 | Pro hasnt stopped hitting the sell button yet since 8.00.01 | stockport loser
23/3/2022 07:56 | Agreed, that rns smacks of desperation. Probably done to let the insiders out. | terminator101
23/3/2022 07:53 | Terminator, their announcement tells that they're reached TD. They haven't yet logged or flow tested, so they can't even know if they have a gusher. Right now, it is pre testing. The point is that the well may be a great success or may be a duster - but we can't know that until logging and testing a it's too early right now. | kiplig
23/3/2022 07:48 | Flat at best, odds are its a duster. | stockport loser
23/3/2022 07:43 | We are onto a winner super news today for investors with gas readings and oil shows Bryan | bryan_davis1973
23/3/2022 07:42 | Confidence? Or wishful thinking? We look forward to results from the pending wireline program, which is set to be conducted over the next 7 to 10 days. Following completion of this program, we hope to be able to confirm the presence of mobile hydrocarbons, and a discovery, at Merlin-2 | oilretire
23/3/2022 07:26 | Seems to me that they have found exactly what they hoped to find, so far, so I would expect the oil to flow too otherwise why drill.! ? | unabkxb
23/3/2022 07:21 | Oil "shows" huh. Hardly the gusher the rampers were predicting. | terminator101
23/3/2022 06:52 | Closed at 2.1p in OZ (0.0375 AUD mid price) | pro_s2009
23/3/2022 03:31 | Yes...next week we will know if its a commercial oil discovery or not. At this stage all signs are very positive. The next news will be the big news. Strong buying support in Australia at around 2.1p a share (0.036 AUD) suggests that those in the know are happily buying up all the short term traders sells. | pro_s2009
23/3/2022 03:14 | So, 1 week or so before additional news to confirm whether this is a discovery or not. | the count of monte_cristo
23/3/2022 02:39 | The people who have no clue will bail out yes, those with a clue will be buying in. Really could not have had a better result at this stage. Dont forget the only reason that PANR could claim "oil' was they had Baker Hughes VAS as their wireline logging failed at this stage.....if they did not have VAS their Theta West initial RNS would have read very much the same as todays 88E one. Thats why I say, those who have no clue might sell, but those who understand will be buying. | pro_s2009
23/3/2022 00:46 | Very significant differences between Merlin-1 and Merlin-2. From all the information so far it looks likely that Merlin-2 will deliver net oil pay, and of a very decent size given the thicker than expected reservoir. Fingers crossed could be boom time next week with the next update. Merlin 1. 1. Mud gas peaks were also recorded and, although generally not of the same scale of the increase in total gas above background as that seen in the Analogue Wells, one of the prospective horizons in Merlin-1 did have substantially elevated total gas 2. With slow to moderate sometimes fast streaming cut when exposed to solvent Merlin 2 1. Finally, significant mud gas peaks were detected across all target sequences 2. Target intervals are thicker than those encountered in Merlin-1 3. “moderately fast” to “immediate and blooming” “cuts” were noted, the speed of which is often a PROXY for sample PERMEABILITY. | pro_s2009
23/3/2022 00:10 | Wireline logging next,...to prove up oil pay zones. Next week will be the big news. | pro_s2009
22/3/2022 22:53 | #88E $EEENF #PANR $PTHRF #Alaska #oil #oilandgas #oott @88EnergyLtd news release....Merlin 2 reached target depth.......All zones look good, elevated gas shows, oil in cuttings and thicker than expected. Wireline logging in process...... | pro_s2009
22/3/2022 22:49 | News coming in a couple of minutes.......will it be good, or bad. Here we go.......... | pro_s2009
22/3/2022 09:36 | Yes, exciting times ahead. | the count of monte_cristo
22/3/2022 03:09 | Big chunky buys as well. And of course, they are drilling the reservoirs now.....so maybe some winks and nudges as the Logging While Drilling data is looking good ?? :) | pro_s2009
22/3/2022 03:05 | Going up now in Oz.....looks like bottom done, ready to roll upwards. | pro_s2009
21/3/2022 08:46 | @idriveajag, can you please keep your ramping of NTOG to the NTOG board. When people start peppering other BB's with 20x bagger, it is so obvious what you're trying to do. Why not say 3x hand and perhaps retain a whisker of credibility. | kiplig
21/3/2022 08:24 | NTOG also looking good.NTOG MCap just £3.4m, already producing in Texas, just drilled another well and awaiting flow results, three more wells to follow this year funded from cash flow, now profitable, immediate benefit from higher oil prices as they sell unhedged.NTOG potential 20x bagger this year. | idriveajag
