Indeed, I sold in chunks initially making 2 to 3 times my holding. I have admittedly missed out on making more like 6 to 8 times, but I took my money off the table when I felt a realistic valuation achieved. Occasionally you miss the big moves, but better served in the long run. (For me at least)

a lot of valid points for and against the potential share price I gave up on my initial holding, but now am in for the short term, ie until the final results next week. will obviously leave some (20%) for the long haul

IMHO this is AIM, an unregulated casino. It's all about risk/reward and whether you have balls of steel or brains of straw it makes no difference.

As a possible scenario.... the results are good, they are announced before the ASX opens, they put a more realistic MCAP on the company of £250-300M.

Vlose the short around 6 to 7p. Then buy again for flow test results. Simple , Rinse and Repeat.

Yes, a sell off is what i am hoping for. Yes, yes a big sell off. Plan is to open a short . We know news will be good,its a given. The flow tests will take a further 10 days to determine how big the discovery is. What we know so far is the discovery will be confirmed around midnight for lighter oil. The price will open 8 to 12p and pumped to high heavens. Thats the tome to open the short, easy 100%.

Boom...48% before results come out...if light crude in a known deposit this will fly tomorrow in AUS and UK before USA gets second tilt at buy-in...
