Benny despite your rudeness, I'll say the following. I hope 7digital is very successful and goes on to achieve the potential I believed it had when it first reversed into UBC Media (several years ago). I was of the opinion that if things went to plan then it could quickly become a £100m+ company and eventually achieve a far higher market cap. If it does then at the very least my original thesis will have been vindicated.

Meanwhile, if you're interested here are five micro-caps that I believe are also on their way to greater things:-

Good luck with your investments, and as regards new entrants to the market, I'm all for it, we were all new entrants at one point and I personally have had great pleasure investing over the years and wish others the same enjoyment.

MichaelMouse- thanks and you're right to be making comparisons with dotcom era when valuation conventions went out the window. You may well remember 'dotcom darling' Stockbroker/Corporate Brokers Durlacher which reversed into a tiny company at approx 3p. I remember thinking 'I must buy some!', but didn't. They went from approx 3p to peak at about £22/£24 as they become the go to broker to handle many of the dotcom period IPO's. You'll probably remember the shell 'Knutsford' too.I owned shares in Mezzanine which owned a few City wine bars, nightclubs, Smollenskys on the Strand then as the dance music craze took off, launched MezzMusic, an online music store selling dance music MP3's to download. The shares soared from the 6p - 10p at which I'd bought to 63p. I should've sold, didn't & regretted ever since but learnt from it. Hence my 7DIG Sale to lock the profits in..I agree that the effect of Lockdown has probably brought a lot of new share punters & would be day traders. Whenever I'm on YouTube, a lot of the adverts between tunes are for a well known share trading company. Well, back to 7DIG, lol. It's going to be interesting to see what transpires - keep watching!GLA

I think more to the point is that the tiktok contract resulted in next to no revenue.

Interesting point made by michaelmouse about TikTok... can anyone confirm or find out if the previous musical.ly contract (now TikTok) is ongoing or came to an end?

lagansider I've got a wry smile on my face after reading your considered post. Thanks for your thoughts. Excellent post as ever.

I think since lockdown we've seen a massive uptick in new traders. Let's say I'm old enough to remember the dotcom era. Logic/caution/valuations just don't apply in these conditions.

IME (a company I know well) is a superb example. Yesterday they announced a huge discounted dilution at 10p per share simply to keep the lights on (covid-19 has hit them hard). Proceeds are being used to pay off debt, pay for an aborted acquisition and general working capital. The share price bizarrely responded by leaping more than 100% at one stage. You couldn't make this stuff up. Their prospects are still highly uncertain.

As regards 7digital, they told investors they couldn't currently pay the rent at the end of April:-

"the Company has implemented a number of cost-saving measures to support the liquidity and financial position of the business including organisational restructuring and securing a short-term rent concession on the Company's leased property"

but here we are and we're in the wild west at the moment. Anything can happen.

If the money rolls in, a non-disclosure agreement doesn't really matter, it's another tick up on their spreadsheet. There's rumours of a takeover, sorry for giving you an extra heart beat but for this price... not now

Think the partner is likely a big big one. BUT will we ever hear them confirm it. If there is an nda, the market might never know

The technical data for almost the last six years has been strong sell, this last month it's been neutral, today its become buy, as for the hourly, daily and the weekly data they have been a strong buy these last few weeks. There's been a lot of activity after market close today presumably from overseas, the picture will become more clearer tomorrow morning.Enjoy your evening
