I just rang Barclays enquire about the AGM, as I wanted to be able to vote on any Resolutions & get form to attend it & I was told it was held on 31st August! - surely that can't be right as less than 21 days after Finals announced. This does highlight a problem with Nominee a/c's in that you don't automatically get the info sent out. I was previously registered before Barclays changed to its new platform.

News just announced of a French Asset Management company declaring a 3.44% stake. I'm guessing that explains the larges trades that have been going through of late.

I completely agree that the issuing of a large bonus offering simply for staying with the company seems overly generous and hardly deserved however, the more heavily the board of directors are in the company then the more incentive they have to make this company work to drive profit and a rise in the share price. At today's SP, Simon Cole has an offering worth about £250k. Surely he has a huge incentive to get the share price north of 30p to turn that offering in to a multi million pound bonus.
Not happy with this but trying to remain positive.

I agree, I'm not happy about this at all either.These options have been granted only 2 weeks after the shares were resumed trading following their Suspension, which was a worrying period for shareholders. There appears to be no performance criteria that has to be met. If the share price had to reach say 20p/30p or a set profit target had to be for the options to be exerciseable I could less unwillingly accept it as all shareholders would benefit. There should have been onerous conditions/requirements set to evidence to shareholders that the reward of the Options would not occur until shareholders have seen value created.

On what basis do they give themselves the option of 11m shares? In terms of restoring faith in the board they just scored an own goal.

It seems not even to be performance based or linked to share price SC well done

Michaelmouse - interesting info (couldn't get your link to work, but found the info anyway). Yes, who wants to be restricted to using names like "Alexa", big companies wanting to setup their own systems will want to tailor everything to make it their own offering and Soundhound will offer exactly that - just hope that 7digital can keep in there with any delevoepment that occurs - and yes it does look very promising. A game changer if it happens too.
