On the back of this update I have been considering a freebb rating upgrade from ‘POS’ to ‘slightly smaller POS’. On reflection I am content to stick with ‘POS’

Don't agree with much of the above, my only negative I have is that they state revenue slightly ahead of forecast. But considering 1.3m was shifted from qtr 4 2017 to qtr1 2018 and revenue estimates were not recalibrated we should be comfortably above forecast.

However at this price it's a bargain

call me a skeptic

but the RNS is the same old same old imho

profitability still pushed further away
like the bow wave in front of a ship...you never quite catch up to it

& rubbery vague data

'lifetime value'
'licensing revenue'

& no other financial data produced
7DIG has been going for a number of years now...esp. if incl. years before listing
& just keeps eating up cash

& based on the RNS it is still loss making...& hopes to get to break even for the year or end of the year or maybe/probably that changes to next year, yet again

I'm a newbie here having recently bought in. The news looks encouraging and if the company can get a real foothold in China and the US this stock should appreciate significantly. It seems to have been a bumpy ride in the last years or so, but there also still seems plenty of expansion opportunities ahead.

From 7DIG update today .."Amongst the contract wins and service launches in Q1 were deals with a leading music service for retail, a new live music experience company, and another China-based social network following on from the Company's existing contract with musical.ly."

Could this be #EVRH? Simon Cole is on the board of Melody though not sure why Melody would require streaming services as they capture content themselves for a VR experience.

How many new live music experience companies are there though? Could 7DIG provide a use for EVRH?

Well it’s been a dog of an investment for me, but that was a very pleasant read, there looks to be life and a future in this company after all. For years I said ‘digital is the way to go’ but execution here has not been good, looks like they are finally delivering on the promises.

I get the distinct feeling Simon Cole has learned the lesson that it’s best to under promise and then over deliver and not vice versa.

The City .....and investors has never really understood 7’s business model , let’s hope that can be changed, confusion between b2b and the ordinary consumers use of iTunes, Spotify and Amazon has clouded the issue here, once the market hopefully wakes up to the myriad of possibilities and potentials here , the tide might change.

I look forward to when the ‘names’ can be announced and hearing more about the services being offered.
I will disappear again, but very pleased with that update

Pleased to see a more considered rns with more detailed content and revenue figures which helps us to guage progress.

Looks like the US is where we will find the new company maker but great to see the update and contract wins.

Go to 7digital investor then latest report - mentions dixons and walmart - as examples of companies that would fit the paas model client targets. Also sc mentioned walmart in the proactive investor interview. And i believe walmarts e commerce headquarters in SF, main hq in Arkansas but sc in SF last week

Where does it mention Walmart as a potential customer in the last investor report?

I picked up on that too Tiger60. The manner in which Walmart was being directly mentioned instead of just a 'major multiple store' did give me the impression that something was potentially in the offing with them... Here's hoping that the reasons given behind the fundraising are borne out.

Also mentions Walmart as a potential retail customer, as SC did in his most recent interview. Sc in sf last week. If Walmart signed...a good time to fantasise

Very interesting reading the last investor report on the 7digital website just prior to formal receipt of funds from the raising. In particular the operational reasons for raising funds:

- sales team hires to deal with demand pull
- handling on-boarding of multiple large companies
- continued strengthening of tech team

Can we get confirmation of progress please as that was the basis of the call for funds. Who are the large clients? What new demand pull? If true then this will bounce with the results. Need to provide hard evidence to the market and we will fly but as ever with 7dig delivery on forward statements has been err, patchy at best. Broooom, broooom, green light?

(As an aside a natural market is gyms, surprised no clients)

H2 2017 profitable despite the costs of Paris office closure and shedding staff. The last we heard they're heading for profitability this year, and unless people have suddenly stopped streaming and downloading music, I suspect that they'll make it. I love a bargain.

All time lows today and it seems the mkt is awash with stock looking for a home. Going lower until and unless positive news. If the news is not good then look out below. Hate to say monte has been correct...,

Perhaps they're helping shareholders who didn't get as many shares as they wanted in the fundraising to get in at 4p anyway? I've just topped up (with alarming ease). The last update was only in February and unless they're telling porkies (always possible) was enough to justify a price a fair bit higher than this.

Time for 7dig to help shareholders.

Surely the huge % falls in the share price warrant a response. The consistent inability to add any shareholder value over a number of years is alienating even their core supporters and deterring new ones.

If there is bad news in the pipeline it seems many are in the know, if not and just disillusionment with lack of news address it.

Surely it is obvious that their current strategy in relation to the market is not working. Try to communicate, that is your primary business..sub 4p. Any comments?.

Why are they not proactive and putting that on their website? And historically why do they see the need to 'bundle' news up? Surely there is some contract news, or even something on the PaaS model roll out. It seems to need a more market savy bias.

They also seem to produce statements that dont cross reference back. The MQA contracts for example, what happened?

An announcement in 'the next few weeks' certainly makes it sound like it will be at least another 3 or 4 weeks if they're not even in a position to give a date yet.
The delay may be because of new auditors but I'm still very nervous that it's taking this long for the results to be posted.
I'm certainly not expecting any news in the announcement that would have a positive effect on the share price, I think we could be waiting another 12 months for the 2018 full year results for some real positivity.

I emailed the Company and received a prompt, polite & helpful response to advise that the Finals will be announced in the next few weeks, and prior to this there will be an RNS to advise of the date. The only reason for the slightly later results timetable is that there are new Auditors (BDO).I too will be keen to hear an update re MQA contracts.
