The stockopedia guy's comments sum up the market for this share. Basically 7dig are largely overlooked by the market because we get put in the same basket as spotify, apple etc. However the numbers are starting to speak for themselves and these numbers are going to grow fast. The market will wake up eventually.

Ok, one member of Stockopedia, WOW! That person is not understanding what the business is about, it is B2B NOT B2C, so to compare it to Spotify etc clearly shows he knows nothing about the business.

I think the overall plan was to secure 24-7 and then sell the whole lot on. It seems rather daft to compare 7dig with B2C outfits but if you are going along those lines look at their respective mcaps!

Those companies you listed are not competition, listen to the CEO interview and you'll understand the clear difference.

Who cares what a Stockopedia member thinks! It's like asking Jenny down Tesco's what she thinks about Fortnum & Mason.

This will be cash positive this year and profit generative in 2018, with no competition as it is all being gobbled up.

Not everyone is a fan. I asked Stockopedia what they thought and a member responded:

None of the music streamers make any money as far as I know. There is plenty of competition with the likes of Spotify, Deezer, Google, Amazon, Apple etc. There is already a hi-res streamer Tidal. Hi-res is a very niche market so I think the CEO is a dreamer, sounds pretty blue sky to me. Most people (even pros) can't hear the difference between mp3 320kbps and HiRes music.


Which is the issue...how do they make profits? Until the mkts understand this the price is going to be stuck in this trading range. Believe me I WANT this to rally big time! Happy to hold my core holding long term and trade any spikes.

Excellent news today, its way better than I expected. And, for an operationally geared company the percentage profits from these and future contracts Increase by a significant factor. A re-rating is definitely in play over the next week or two. I am sitting back and watching with interest to say the least.
