Mf, it also states that very few people have caught it twice, and that the body can adapt. It is believed T cell responses - which are less well understood - may be the answer.

Hi Captain, something on your post of october 22 to The Stigologist, where you justifiablt question the efficacy of MRx0518 compared to ICI's, or better said, you re-post the question of another poster. The below is from an article I found : In a statement, 4D’s chief scientific officer, Dr Alex Stevenson, said of the trial results: “This is ground-breaking for the microbiome in immuno-oncology. Considering the advanced stage of disease of the patients in the study, end of line patients who have previously failed on a checkpoint inhibitor and have little to no remaining treatment options, these results are very promising." He added: "We believe that, while this is a small study, these efficacy and safety results in such a difficult-to-treat population are notable. To achieve these results while maintaining a very clean safety profile is to our knowledge unparalleled, and particularly significant in oncology where there is all too often the unfortunate trade-off between treatment and quality of life, and patients often elect to interrupt or stop treatment completely due to adverse side effects." So the importance of the trial is that it shows a very significant efficacy combined with no discernable side-effects. And don't forget, ICI's have been developed over time, and the same could be done with MRx0518, which might still improve the efficacy. And again, I am not defending The Stigologist here, he doesn't need it for sure, but there is a huge promise in these oncology results and it is one I have high hopes for, definately a next phase trial upcoming I would say. Engage!

Not exactly. £88m is about half what dddd is capitalised at, and that's before warrants and the latest dilution.

mf, another bit of the puzzle falling into place. I do not think they are being brave enough to tell us all their suspicions. You wouldn't wreck you economy over something that is worse than flu, but not by a huge margin, would you ? From the word go they have been saying do not expect to much from a vaccine, now why would they say that ? Another little abnormality is the number of health workers that get the disease badily, a possibility was suggested that you got to much of the disease by contact with several infected people, a bit like pouring a small amount of water into a glass until it is over flowing thus causing a more serious version of the disease, is that possible ? The same situation is occurring in residential care home, a bit odd isn't it ? Will this bring DDDD CV-19 medicine to the front of the queue in trials ?

Agree MF. It is clear that prevention is more and more unlikely. Trying to treat the illness is looking for likely to reduce deaths and serious long terms effects of the virus.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54696873Relevant I think, seems like people can get Covid multiple times so any drug that reduces impact has to be a priority

When you have a determined seller, fundamental are irrelevant. Seen it loads of times. Sold my few I trade today, and of course keeping my long term holding as you never know when a spike up will come. But based on the last few weeks it could go back below 100p as the seller was clearly happy to sell at that level before. I hope they do as I will re buy my trading stock down there
