Nothing in the Telegraph and no new upgrade so its a mystery still...???

The first is 3i infrastructure so not really relevant to 3i and second too old.
There was a Citigroup price target set of £10 on the 10th August which is also too old so I think there must be another significant upgrade today or other whisperings which may show up in the papers tomorrow...

Recent strength of the Euro
Action, the discount retail business, no doubt still doing well, along with other Euro denominated investments

You could also add into the mix the strong performance/recovery of the Euro in recent months which should help when translating earnings and profits back into sterling and dividends
An excellently run company making consistently good progress

Solid update this morning. Levels of realisations, new investment and liquidity good. Continued improving performance from European investments nice to see.Canaccord note suggests existing consensus could be beaten in H1, plus possible strong realisations and refinancings in H2Pleased to hold

True, buy I'm going purely on trading in the last month, huge institutional buying to take the share price to £9 - they won't be selling just yet..

I hope it is CHC15, price is heavily reliant on Action at quite high multiples. It is a great business but one slip could stuff 3i share price I am a supporter, but would like to see some other businesses being discussed more by BOD....seem fixated on Action

Blimey bought these last at 177p. Been doing very well. Mostly due to Action investment I guess.

Sharp rise in share price this week presumably following the Action capital markets day and analyst reaction to that. Having looked at the slides on 3i website it does look an absolutely fantastic business, but guess it's going to start to get difficult for the Board to decide whether to keep it or sell it. But whilst it's expanding and producing cash it's a brat ride. Any one have decent visibility on the other better performing investments?
