But to be honest here, 3DD have made progress. With a further major distribution or sales agreement we will see a major rerating of the shareprice to 3, 4 or 5x the current price. It's very much under the radar.

Don't be silly - it's 2 months on! AIM is grim at the moment. I'm seeing it all over the micro-caps, there is no volume this year. Small sells by small time players are decimating the share prices of hundreds of companies, and the MMs exploit it. To be fair to them, they just can't get any buys. The risk:reward ratio has been completely skewed to the pessimistic, and until risk comes back into play and a normal market resumes we will see this problem.

They did manage to raise £1.41 million only 2 months ago. Not easy in the current market. Management did buy into this, and the rest was supported by existing investors. So I think it's wrong to say that the BoD haven't bought loads at this level. They've actually bought close to double the current price! Broker targets (for what they're worth) are > 10p post fundraising

From September 22nd RNS:
"The additional capital has been raised by way of a subscription by the management team of 3D and by Stefan Kaltenbach, the head of Orange Dental and a well-known and highly respected figure in the dental industry, for an aggregate of 11,250,000 new Ordinary Shares and by way of two separate placings with existing investors for an aggregate of 59,250,000 new Ordinary Shares, in each case at a subscription price of 2 pence per share "

Application has been made for the admission to trading on AIM of the 13,350,000 First Placing Shares, expected to occur on 19 October 2011, and of the total 57,150,000 Second Placing Shares and Subscription Shares, expected to occur on 20 October 2011. Terms defined in the announcement in respect of the fundraising by the Company dated 22 September 2011 have the same meaning in this announcement unless otherwise stated.

Subscription Shares? what sub shares .... any info on them?

Thanks The graftman- different approaches to investing and each to his own. To me equity dilution is important, as I invest reasonable sums of money and hold 1-1.5% of a company. If they intend to issue shares, then it does not make sense for me to buy at a higher pre-placement price and then watch the price go down with the share dilution. Funding almost inevitably means that existing share holders get shafted.

My dentist friend called from Chicago and said that the service delivery environment is challenging and a number of high end practices are closing down due to the poor economic climate. She did not feel that the uptake of the product would be good for this reason at this time. Most patients have to pay for dental care and dentists are already cutting costs to retain patients - she does not think that she would invest in this equipment at this time.

I tried to buy 100k shares on Monday and had to keep reducing my online order to 10k before I got a quote...this put me off somewhat, as it appeared the liquidity is poor and it would take me ages and many trades to build a stake. I have not bothered since, but shall keep a watch on this and pick up when the risk-reward ratio is even better. Unfortunately, I do not think we have seen the bottom of the share price as yet.

All the very best to you and all who hold. Best wishes.

i never listen to fund issues ,, i have my own way ,, i don't see it . If you have a good product and it gets to market ,,no one else has it or can get it ,, you have a winner ,, ask Mr A Sugar ,,he says it enough times and he knows products. that is why i see no problems with funding .

Market seems to have taken no notice - negligible volume and a price dip...shall monitor for a while. Still not had a reply from any of the regular posters about the funding issue...on the cards, I reckon.
