09/3/2017 08:14 | Fantastic results just released | muffster
28/2/2017 09:48 | Range above 200 is only 1 pence so far, could that be to in effect to cover dealing cost of selling now as opposed to waiting to receive cash from the company ? If it dropped to below 200 then would the merger arbitragers move in ? | s2lowner
27/2/2017 18:41 | The trading above 200 is probably just noise and the current deal highly likely to go through. But risk reward more skewed to upside than downside IMO so I might just hang onto my holdings a tad longer as I am not desperate for the cash buy dyor | davr0s
27/2/2017 18:30 | shaker - they are called hard irrevocable undertakings for a reason, you can't renege on them just because a higher bid materialises. | bestace
27/2/2017 17:07 | Not an expert on these - as a growth investor I rarely get taken out. Is there anything to Kindred buying up shares on the open market just to get the deal away? My thinking is if you're bidding £2 and the open market price is £2.01 it's hardly a big deal. | alphabeta4
27/2/2017 16:28 | Curious 201p paid but not much volume though | davr0s
27/2/2017 12:40 | And that reason could be a higher bid. I don't think the board could refuse to consider a significantly higher bid, while claiming to direct in the interest of all shareholders. | shaker44
27/2/2017 12:15 | My reading of the RNS is that most of the acceptances are irrecovable even if a new bid materialises. The exception is Miton who can rescind their acceptance if a new bid comes along which is 10% higher, but as they only own a small percentage of the company I think the Kindred bid is essentially done and dusted unless they unilaterally decide to pull out for some reason. | bestace
27/2/2017 11:53 | You won't know until price moves. Done deal until/if counter bid. Supposedly irrevocable acceptance, but revocable if bid 10% higher. Same old... | shaker44
27/2/2017 11:18 | any news of a counter bid? does anyone know when its decided the takeover is a done deal? thanks in advance | tines
23/2/2017 11:05 | Market expects counter bid. So do I. More value here. Suspect bid was agreed as protects existing management.... | shaker44
23/2/2017 10:16 | great run over the years, Unibet are a great buyer that will keep the brand alive and kicking. | tomstone12
23/2/2017 09:55 | The fact that the board have recommended the offer speaks volumes that their isn't anything else in the pipeline. Sold mine this morning for 200p , little disappointed to be taken out for a lower offer than i would have envisaged but more than happy to nearly double by money. Move on to the next doubler ? | oohrogerpalmer
23/2/2017 09:46 | Bid price a shade over £2 now | davr0s
23/2/2017 09:42 | Looks like too many have jumped ship, MM's swamped , cant sell at all now. | johnv
23/2/2017 08:40 | I've taken the £2 too. Weren't most of the undertaking irrecoverable making a bid harder to pull off unless this offer still managed to get rejected? | alphabeta4
23/2/2017 08:25 | Doubt it QS but you never know, I've sold time to move on. | paleje
23/2/2017 08:23 | Luvly jubly....I have taken my profit at £2.....dont want to be too greedy. | nurdin
23/2/2017 08:22 | Interesting - so I can sell for £2 today which is the cash offer+divi. Is another bid realistic as it seems like it was largely tied up as paper the RNS - otherwise might as well move on. Decisions, decisions (but nice ones) | davr0s
23/2/2017 08:20 | I stand (sit) corrected, shares beyond £2 so maybe they think someone will come in with a higher offer? | qs99
23/2/2017 08:14 | Well done again sharewatch | nw99
23/2/2017 07:51 | Much better deal than NPT holders got, and Ed making sure divi gets paid. I thought we might have made another acquisition rather than been taken out this year but c'est la vie, been in since the 60s and happy enough. | paleje
23/2/2017 07:29 | Could have been higher but hey, 1/3 increase in a month I'll take any day. No rush to sell out as decent divi next week to soo effectively £2 price now | davr0s
23/2/2017 07:17 | well i'm up 25% in less than a month so am happy none the less....if board have agreed then tough for someone else to come in IMO. I agree it is not exactly a knockout price but for me time to move on....cheers | qs99
23/2/2017 07:15 | Damn. It is so frustrating when a share with good prospects is taken over at such a modest premium. Not really a happy day. Could be worse though! | martinc |
