09/3/2017 15:26 | Another fairly chunky buy gone through. Could be someone stake-building or interested being generated in the company | qut
04/3/2017 12:10 | I see the drop as a buying opportunity and have topped up. Trak8 are struggling and have got their own problems to sort out. | vfast
04/3/2017 10:50 | Guess no one in this (very wise) but note Trak8. The big issue for C21 is not only in actually making money (rather than doing deals in far off places at low GP) but that Trak8 were the best hope for getting taken out. That now would seem a very unlikely prospect. | waterloo01
07/2/2017 13:53 | All rather quite, share price aside. See they are now worth less than they sold the Merton building for all those years ago. Not even any director buying says a lot. Much better run as a private company, just don't ever see this being big enough to warrant it being public. (Lets hope cash has been coming in as the £300k raised at 10% in December won't last long and they will lose 20% if they use the invoice facility). Best of luck. | waterloo01
03/1/2017 07:34 | Happy New Year C21 traders. I have to agree with Waterloo. The margins in this business are wafer thin. So when they do make a profit it is taken by directors leaving nothing for shareholders. No dividend and no capital gain. It doesn't sound like the best place to be in this market. | nod
02/1/2017 19:53 | vfast, I'm cautiously optimistic. They may just have turned a corner - they need to keep positive newsflow coming | qut
01/1/2017 09:36 | I read on the main thread that there is optimism about further contracts down under as a result of the NZ contract. It's always possible as new eyeballs will see the products. But NZ Bus is by far the biggest bus company in NZ and our neighbours are far away. The distance from Auckland to Sydney is about the same as London to Chisinau, Moldova. Europe is a much bigger and more populated market for C21. | nod
30/12/2016 13:31 | Bought a few more this week at 2.7p and 2.74p which brings my average down to 4.25p. Looking forward to 2017/18 with optimism and believe C21 could be the "Dark Horse" next year that comes good. After a bad 2016 my luck has to change!!! IMO DYOR. | vfast
21/12/2016 12:47 | It's nothing to do with C21, it's the Sky takeover but for some reason the computer system/softwear have tagged it on to C21. | vfast
20/12/2016 18:36 | 21st Century Fox has made an offer for Sky plc. Wellington Group is a major shareholder in Sky and declaring its trades against C21 UK company. Should be ticker FOX on Nasdaq. | nod
20/12/2016 18:04 | What are the last 2 RNSs all about? | qut
08/12/2016 18:19 | They must be having cash flow issues to enter into these finance arrangements. An invoicing facility is expensive at 15-20% apr. Less than a credit card but not much less. Expensive when margins in this business have always been wafer thin. The loan notes at 10% is also eating into those thin profit margins but may be necessary for cash flow. What do UK banks charge these days for business loans?I guess C21 would have approached their bank but it was either too expensive or declined as too risky for the bank. | nod
08/12/2016 15:38 | I suppose it's better than a dilution! | qut
08/12/2016 14:25 | sharp comment, Nod. even today's debt seem to pay 10% interest for director's money loan and it is fair! It is very innovative scheme to make money at current low interest environment. Crafty lot to squeeze money out of company. | carer
08/12/2016 09:59 | That's the financing options sorted and no big surprises. IMO with this out the way we should see positive progress. Wouldn't be surprised to hear more contract wins in the near future. | vfast
08/12/2016 09:36 | NZ Bus purchased Alexander Dennis buses from the UK. It's possible that someone from NZ Bus saw the C21 product in the U.K. They probably have the in-house skills to support the technology themselves. Kiwis are very resourceful and innovative.Infratil and NZ Bus are keen on utilising leading edge technology. Earlier this year they announced a project with US company Wrightspeed for electric buses. I will keep a look out for any news on the deployment of C21 products. | nod
07/12/2016 23:07 | Yes Nod, I'm a patient investor! C21 hasn't been too bad for me over the years - better than some. I think the current management have the right strategy and hopefully it's starting to bear fruit. Any ideas how they picked up the business in New Zealand?! It seems a bit of a bizarre location unless they have connections there! I'm not complaining - business is business and possibly it could lead to further contracts in the area. Maybe a good idea to cast the net outside Europe following Brexit :) | qut
07/12/2016 18:24 | Yes, we've been saying this for ten years yet the company does manage to survive. It earns enough to pay its directors but there is nothing ever left for shareholders who will always have to rely on trading the share to earn an income from this investment. Buying shares and waiting for growth has been a lost cause for ten years.A year or two ago, I had high hopes that C21 would merge with Trakm8 but that is looking unlikely now Trakm8 has hit a wall. | nod
07/12/2016 13:26 | with such a low valuation, surely somebody will have a couple of millions to buy this minnow. not sure it will exist on its own very long. the company is just about surviving! | carer
06/12/2016 17:51 | Hi qut, are you still holding shares in C21? You are very patient.Yes, I have lived in Auckland for 20 years now. We live just a 10 minute stroll to beautiful spacious beaches. The family had fish and chips on the beach last night. It's hard to beat the quality of life here. I left Cheshire 34 years ago.NZ Bus is the customer. NZ Bus is owned by Infratil who bought the Auckland bus business off Stagecoach, who kept the ferry operations. Infratil is a very well run company. "Over the last five years Infrati's compound after tax to shareholders was 17.74% per annum" | nod
06/12/2016 15:15 | Good to hear from you Nod. Aren't you based in the antipodean part of the world? | qut
06/12/2016 10:27 | Vfast, I'm not able to post on the other thread. It's the only thread on advfn I can't post on. It's the Gods telling me to stay away from C21. | nod
05/12/2016 19:56 | NZ Bus currently has a fleet of over 1,000 buses. We employ approximately 1,900 people and move over 50 million New Zealanders every year.In Auckland, we are the principle bus company, with Metrolink, North Star, GO WEST and Waka Pacific buses serving the region's public transport needs with over 650 buses covering more than 200 routes and carry over 35 million customers each year. In Wellington, GO Wellington has a fleet of 223 buses, including Wellington's iconic trolley buses and are we are the preferred mode of transport for over 14 million customers each year.Valley Flyer has a fleet of 110 buses, including the Airport Flyer service.
