1Spatial Awarded Significant Contract
1Spatial, the global geospatial software and solutions company is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a significant contract worth GBP1.6m to provide its software and services to Land & Property Services ('LPS') in Northern Ireland.
LPS is the National Mapping Organisation for Northern Ireland and has a responsibility to produce accurate and up-to-date mapping products. The organisation requires highly accurate spatial data and associated information in order to meet the growing demands of customers. 1Spatial's software solution has been identified as the highest quality solution to meet this business critical need effectively.
The total contract value for 1Spatial is GBP1.6m. Total fees of GBP1.3m over 5 years include the supply of Software, Support and Maintenance and Services. Of this amount, approximately GBP0.4m will be recognised by 31(st) January 2019 with the remainder likely to be equally recognised over the remaining period. The remaining GBP0.3m is in relation to extended Support and Maintenance for option years 6-10.
Through this contract, 1Spatial will be building upon existing software already in place to take LPS to the full 1Spatial Management Suite, securing and increasing future recurring revenues for 1Spatial.
1Spatial Management Suite (1SMS), including core modules of 1Integrate, will support LPS in maintaining the accuracy of their data by providing an automated workflow to allow users to identify an area of interest, extract the data to undertake updates and, once edited, automatically validate the changes before submitting the data back to the central database.
Additionally, the automatic data management provided by 1Spatial Management Suite provides effective orchestration and organisation across LPS's data estate that will ensure the delivery of accurate and timely data to customers. The services will enable LPS to integrate their systems and support innovation within their products and services over the next 5-10 years.

About LPS
Land & Property Services (LPS) was established as an Executive Agency within the Department of Finance and Personnel for Northern Ireland (DFP) on 1st April 2007. The Agency was initially established from the merger of the former Rate Collection Agency (RCA) and the Valuation and Lands Agency (VLA), followed by the addition of Land Registers of Northern Ireland (LRNI) and Ordnance Survey of Northern Ireland (OSNI(R)) on 1st April 2008.
