Happy Christmas and new year to all. My daft tips for 2018! 1spatial to be over 10p by next November, Abcam to make more profit in China. Shire to be takeover by May.

Yes but ultimately it is Ameriprise as they own threadneedle it’s amazing the way these companies are setup as Columbus bought threadneedle and they are also owned by Ameriprise inc. threadneedle themselves have about 10 different subsidies must be great tax evasion going on.

Seeking - read the holdings notice. It is Threadneedle Asset Management that have increased. They are part of the Ameriprise group. They have been buying ever since these were 1.5p. Shame I didn’t hold on as I would have doubled my money by now. Next set of results are key I would guess. They need to demonstrate the new team are actually delivering on their promises.

Noticed that on 1spatials website under events that in the announcement about the upcoming transport confrence in the USA in January that the state of Michigan and Kansas are using 1spatials software so sales must be on the up. Add this to the contracts that they have won with the fed Department of transport and Arizona and Nebraska’s DOT things are looking good. Maybe that’s why the share price has been edging up.

Hoverflyman, 1spatial owns the software, which they have a patent on,which they use to manipulate clients big data. Which is in the main geospatial. I have been very impressed with achievements they have made so far with thier clients and expect with having a new management who actually seem to have a strategy in place rather than a machine gun approach which the old directors seemed to have. I fully expect them to actually make 💰 from here on in. Alls I want to hear is they have got more state transport contracts in the next six months. They have the federal transport contract which is very important as all of the states have to give the fed end of year data. If they don’t they get a large fine for not submitting it or providing bad data which has happened in the past.

It turns out that the recommended companies in regard to development of AI are Facebook, Alphabet and primarily nVidia whose website professes their GPU (?graphics processing unit... not sure about that acronym) to be developed primarily with AI in mind. But the relevance of SPA might be its possession of lots of data.. however the website reads "1Spatial Group manages the world’s largest Spatial Big Data and work with the users and the creators of the largest geospatial databases, helping them collect, store, manage and interpret location-specific information".. so I don't know how much the Group actually owns!

Seaking, on the IQE board Picobird posted this link hxxps://www.fool.com/investing/2017/12/12/apple-truedepth-supplier-continues-to-ramp-product.aspx and falling into the Fool trap I listened on ... to discover the bait is a presumably US leader in AI development with a fantastically fast processor to crunch data, to enable “deep learning” but although this promises an IMMENSE revolution it needs huge amounts of data to process. So any owners of big data may be prey, such as 1Spatial.

I emigrated to Australia before the eighties and dabbled in gold and oil shares came out about even. So have since coming back went into funds which are on the whole safer than shares .

Very true. I always pick my own funds and about 2 times a year get the brokers trying to tell me they can do it for about £500 quid. Blinking robbers all of them.

Their revenue would be helped if the outgoing CEO and associated wasters repaid their salaries for the last 5 years, as under their 'leadership' existing shareholders were diluted 50%. Although that would come as no surprise to the long suffering Avisen shareholders. It remains to be seen if this business is just being passed from one group of freeloaders to another just to keep them in lucrative employment, which is easily achieved through a 'story' and gullible punters, thinking that equity-raising gives them some sort of benefit. Bear in mind when quoting funds' investments as some sort of positive, that they are not playing with their own money and most of them underperform a dartboard investor, despite also taking home nice salaries.

Yes some fund is buying. besides funds making money it’s also about voting rights so the more they have the more power they have if a buyer were to try takeover. Which is what the likes of Azine would like. Have a look at thier website and companies they have secondary transactions in. All big companies start small especially in I.T.

Mm, I wonder why fund managers buy this fund then and a private equity firm AZINE, maybe you should tell them why they are being daft. Try reading some GSI magazines it might enlighten you. But I doubt it.

Okay well why an earth would someone want to buy this company ? Further why an earth an American person?Regarding HIS just taking off well it took off years ago so I'm afraid your somewhat late to the party. The future of GIS is now in high resolution live mapping such as high street individual foot fall and individual vehicle location and tracking and from what I can see, this company don't even appear to be in the same book let alone on the same page !
