Wow!! mwaller, that sounds super impressive! I have this share by default having bought into another company years ago, that has changed its name and direction so many times I have lost count. The only upside being that if they realise the potential I am now imagining (think I may have done that several years ago) there could be a very decent return, as AIM shares held over a period of time are not subject to UK tax. Don't want to do the ROI just yet, breaking even wouldn't be a bad start. If you wouldn't mind humoring me, lets see if I have this correct.... They are able to provide geolocation information? the equivalent of icloud storage? and physical data storage and bacup?

They provide the software to manage 400 of the worlds utility company networks, water, gas, electric, nuclear, & fiber, UK, France, Belgium, China, Argentina, tunisia, Morocco, Saudi, Martinique, New Caledonia, Malaysia. They were acquired by SPA last year to compliment the SPA offering. With Star SPA can offer a complete end to end solution - Spatial Big Data Lifecycle Management. From getting and processing the data and making it and keeping it reliable and complete (original SPA) to enabling the publication packaging and consumption of that data by the down stream customers. They are the first that can offer this end to end, let alone on this scale and the businesses compliment each other as they use similar core technology designed to handle huge spatial data volumes effectively. I wrote a lot about it in earlier posts at the time and also there was a prospectus that came out at the time which also gave good details/overview. I can probably find the link still if anybody is interested.

Got the remaining 10 PC of STAR shares from Belgian government at the same price as original transaction...This is good news, something's brewing...Ask yourself why are they tidying up the corporate structure - is it acquisition or some big deal and they want to keep all the pie for themselves...

Go to the London South East website and from there you will be able to pick up the large transactions over the period. Always worth a look

No Solarno, not been watching that closely. Follow the BB and have started expressing more of an interest of late as their new direction unfolds. IF they could get out of the AIM they'd get better interest from the big boys imho. Big buys always good news though...

The point of the excerpt below is to highlight how the technology that SPA offer is used, and how it is becoming more widely know about, accepted, and used. I know I have commented on this before, however it is yet another article highlighting the fact. I have had to post some supporting text to put into context.... New Jersey, where all forms of casino gambling became available online in November, already has approved 148,000 gambler accounts, ..... Players who gamble online must be in the state where they bet. Geo-location software at the casino site confirms where a player is. Read more: hxxp://triblive.com/aande/gambling/5389546-74/online-gambling-million#ixzz2qN7uFX59 SPA could use a few contracts like this, as I do not appear to be rich yet as a result of this share!!!

We are in very good company. Soros doesn't put his money on no hopers with no IP market growth potential and no chance of a good share price uplift. He clearly see's the bigger opportunity too. The fact that his fund has very recently accumulated further to a reasonable position since the initial investment six months ago also speaks loads to the confidence in how he sees SPA continued development and execution and the broader Market in which they play evolving. I think in the direction we have already indicated. This to me is a solid marker for us private investors we are still on a good track.
